Donald Trump and US politics

The whole muh-Russia narrative was made possible because of a bogus dossier commissioned by FusionGPS as opposition research. The Senate Intelligence committee just subpoenaed Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS to testify.

So what does this honest, upstanding man with nothing to hide do?

Plead the fifth, like so many of Obama and Hillary's crew did. His lawyer issued the statement.

"Simpson’s attorney has asserted that his client will invoke his Fifth Amendment rights in response to the subpoena," committee chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and ranking member Dianne Feinstein, R-Calif confirmed.

Whenever Congress gets around to issuing a warrant for devices, it will be all over for the left, and the process of deciding what charges to bring against Hillary, Simpson, Susan Rice, Obama, Lynch, Comey and the rest will begin.

Rumors have July 27th as being the next step, but that is just speculation.

^ nice. Meanwhile, r/politics is focused on Sessions comitting perjury because he allegedly talked to ambassador Kislyak about Trump's campaign. They're stuck between "omg this must be the end of Drumpf" and "omg this might actually benefit Drumpf", it's nice watching the cognitive dissonance.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Different people having different opinions = cognitive dissonance?

No, even if we put that aside, isn't that just people making predictions of what will happen next? So, if one believes that 2 or more outcomes are possible that's cognitive dissonance?

In the field of psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort (psychological stress) experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. The occurrence of cognitive dissonance is a consequence of a person's performing an action that contradicts personal beliefs, ideals, and values; and also occurs when confronted with new information that contradicts said beliefs, ideals, and values

In this case I don't think it's cognitive dissonance, so I think you might need to find another pretext to gloat over strangers...

I see r/politics as a single hive-mind.

Known by insiders as "Mooch," the new communications director is a Harvard Law School-educated Long Islander who founded a hedge fund after leaving Goldman, and sold it to join the Trump administration.

Nice quoting out of context.

Are you by chance defending the corrupt media that helped perpetuating the lies that got "us" into the Iraqi war, Libyan war, Syrian war, Yemeni war...??? I thought you were against neocon/neolib war profiteers, not for them? ;)

Scaramucci bid goodbye to Spicer, saying “I love the guy and I wish him well, and I hope he goes on to make a tremendous amount of money.”

Nice to know where his values lie.

That's an American value, not a Dem/Rep-specific value. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They fill it even more yet surely the Trump supporters still defend this somehow, they always do.
