" Thats a hard argument to make when Mueller a deep state hack and his 20 or so democratic legal team is allowed to investigate. They will find something. "Show Me The Man And I'll Find You The Crime" https://townhall.com/columnists/bobbarr/2017/06/28/draft-n2347508 Trump is a fool. Shoulda never fired Flynn never give in. Dems are at war he better recognize and never give in. Thats the problem with republicans, they dont play hard ball. Like Sessions recusing himself. Fuck that. Mueller and every prosecutor he hired is way more compromised and they are not recusing themselves. Even legislatively reps are not in lockstep or getting shit done despite total rule. House senate and pres and SC. Weak sauce. Dems dont have these solidarity problems. I guess this comes from our independent streak while their whole mantra is collectivism. Git R Dun! Reminder that the ACLU is ISIS.
Spoiler
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

ACLU's mission is to be a defender of last resort for our freedoms. This is far from the first or last time you'll see ACLU defending someone you think is abhorrent. Freedom of speech, religion, and assembly should not be abridged.
The extent of their interaction with Sarsour is a little questionable, though. They worked with Sarsour to sue the NYPD over religious profiling and unjust surveillance, which seems like a noble goal and exactly the kind of thing ACLU should be doing, but then they've got this unabashed fluff piece making them sound like pals. It makes no sense to me why they would want that kind of association. You can defend a neo-nazi in court, but that doesn't mean you have to like them. You can defend someone who thinks blasphemy laws are okay, but that doesn't mean your organization (which runs directly counter to blasphemy laws) wants to support that. --- EDIT: Also, that twitter account is crazy. Is that supposed to be the views of their organization? What the fuck does the ACLU have to do with Medicaid? Or immigration of non-Americans? Or "election integrity"? They've fallen pretty far from Scopes and Miranda. Last edited by pneuma#0134 on Jul 14, 2017, 7:16:30 PM

the ACLU is a real piece of shit organization, scamming people too lazy to search information on issues by just claiming to be good guys fighting against racism and whatnot (not the only one either, be very doubtful of these "good guy organizations"). I am not surprised, I remember checking a few articles in the past and there was a lot of dishonesty and one-sided reports for maximum milking suckers with their ever constant "GIEBMONEYPLZ". I do not trust it one bit. I see it as malicious at worst, dishonest at best. I dislike Conartists, but I truly truly despise those that use good people or good ideals as a shield. Pure trash. These organizations are the definition of what is wrong with PC.
Spoiler
Aside, but god damn should I become a con artist, the world is full of suckers who have more money than they deserve.

Funny they keep accusing him of shit they've committed and gotten away with, I wonder if this is just more 4d chess where it gets flipped around on the left's actual crimes.

"Darn. "This. I have a lot of respect for what the ACLU was, and in a strictly nostalgic sense I'll always support their mission. What they have become and what they intend to accomplish now is a different story. I could say the same about the Democratic Party. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
