Sorry but I don't buy the "voter ID is rayciss" bullshit.

Spoiler

Even if I concede about voter ID, what about the rest?

As long as someone's a registered voter and can prove it I agree that voting should be made easy.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
The bullshit Russia narrative is much worse than the birther thing Obama was faced with. Saying a sitting US president is not allowed under the Constitution is a claim of illegitimacy; saying a sitting US president rigged an election with the help of a foreign power goes beyond illegitimacy to espionage and treason.

Now imagine if, during the first six months of Obama's presidency, the mainstream media spent more minutes covering birtherism than any other topic... in fact, more minutes than all other topics combined. Not merely birtherism coverage but birtherism coverage ad infinitum. The elevation of fringe conspiracy theory to 24-hour news cycle.

What has happened to Trump is strictly worse than that.

The Russia narrative wasn't about issues. The mainstream Left isn't about issues anymore. They're about hating Trump. They're about Trump not being "their President" — meaning "the President" — despite the results of an election. They're not about seeking a compromise; they're about seeking a coup. Impeachment or the 25th Amendment at a minimum, but more violent means are acceptable to some.

If you can see how birtherism was an issue-dodging, uncompromising movement likely to incite coup-seeking, potentially violent behavior, then you must see the thankfully unrealized yet looming potential for the incitement of terrorism in the Russia narrative. I mean, kids are singing "kill Donald Trump" at my son's daycare for fuck's sake.

Of course, not all Left is mainstream Left. Kudos to those who ignored Russia and occasionally opposed Trump actions on grounds based in reality, especially if they could find cause to occasionally support Trump actions on the same basis.

do you think kicking all the illegal will make it easier for Trump in the next election?

If 5.9-7 million illegals voted in 2008, then far more likely voted in 2012 and 2016. Without the illegal votes and with the boost in conservative turnout that would follow - California would actually be a competitive state.

That's how screwed up the voting has become. Does anyone in here actually believe the DNC wants more immigrants out of the goodness of their heart?

that would be really really hard

3 Step process to solve most of the problem, and neither requires a significant investment by the government.

1) Require all jobs applicants (including 'independant' contractors to be processed through E-Verify. This would include day laborers and any job for pay. A few obvious things like a children's lemonade stand or a yard sale could be exempted, but even a handy man/woman would need to process their information through E-verify and obtain a card that any customer could check online for authenticity.

2)No payroll tax deductions for any employees that weren't qualified under E-verify. If company xyz paid out 30% of their earnings in wages and only half those people passed E-verify, then the wages paid out to the rest would count as earnings and be taxed accordingly.

This would kill the financial demand for illegal immigration as well as most of the lure. Far too many businesses want people to come to the US that they can exploit. When it costs them as much, or more to hire illegals, they will stop doing it.

3)Eliminate the tax deductions, credits and earned income credit for dependents not living in the United States, unless that qualifying person has passed careful screening to prevent fraud.

#2 has been proposed at least twice by a Texas member of Congress. Trump has made comments toward #1, though I haven't heard anything recent. #3 has not been formally proposed yet as legislation to my knowledge,

hahahahahaha

I mean, might still be worth doing, but enforcement there is a nightmare. No significant investment, you crack me up.

All it takes is some high-profile enforcement. Knock down a few big violators, and the rest will mostly fall into line. How most law enforcement works, by making it too costly to risk it. =^[.]^=

Delivering a shitty product (to people seeking news, not entertainment), why not? For fun! And profit.

Where is the outrage on republican side on birtherism? Truth be told, the public love their infotainment and echo chambers. If people think the product is shitty, all they have to do is not watch it.
