Ghostbusters was a feminist extremist movie, they cast overweight women who were unfunny. Wonder Woman is a action based movie with a powerful woman in the lead. Feminists hate Gal Gadot because she isnt the feminist extremist ideal of overweight unfunny woman.

Also we could put in, the concept of the original movie is a bunch of guys doing stupid things together just like every group of guys would do ever. And it's working well as a horror/comedy movie, the whole concept revolve around this. Nothing to do with "girls can't be ghosthunters" or girls can't be protagonists. It's just the concept doesn't work as much if it's a bunch of girls in the group.

Just take The lord of the ring, The whole group all guys, there are certain type of interractions you get trough the entire adventure that only works well because it's an all men cast. Nothing to do with women can't fight orcs... it's just the group interraction change, and the theme explored should be adapted in consequence.

A main character lady spy would works well anyday, just check Black Widow, but tell me a James Bond female lead would work??? Hell no, the whole concept works well because the spy is a macho and narcissistic man.

People should stop trying to make the equivalent or the female version, they should just come up with original characters. If you absolutely want to have a lead female character you should buil the scenario around her, not use an existant story that was made for a totally different character it will never work, it's just a scenaristic suicide.

As I have seen this "expert" cite before, I thought it would be worthwhile to see who we are dealing with, since he continues to write inane strategy pieces.
These are the allegations I found:

1) He is no longer teaching at the Naval War College, being forced to resign after sending a unwanted selfie of his anatomical weaponry to a woman.

2) He reportedly still clings to the idea that Wikileaks and Snowden are Russian puppets

3) He falsely accused a US ambassador of treason

4) He has been investigated multiple times for campaigning (while on duty or on base) for and against members of congress (such as Rand Paul)


The best part of all is that he blames the dick pic fiasco on the Russians! They engineered it all as a trap for him.

He is a clown, an angry disreputable clown.

Wonder Woman was an unapologetic feminist 31 years before Ms Magazine was ever published. Had the magazine done any research, they would know that Wonder Woman was intended to show that a woman can be for women's rights, sexy and have her own idea about what she wants to do with her body.

In Wonder Woman's case, it meant she was into S&M (both sides) - but the comics could only show so much, and whenever the writers could push her character a little more they did. To their minds a woman shouldn't have to choose between what she enjoys in the bedroom and what rights she has in public. Feminists need not be undesirable either. Wonder Woman could wear the whips, ropes and chains whenever she wanted, and she could break free of them whenever she wanted.

If she were a real person, WW would probably toss Ms Magazine in the trash and more likely read Cosmo for the laughs.
