That is what this constant covfefe thing reminds me of. I mean even if you thought it was funny at first, when does it look stupid to laugh at the same thing for the next 3 days? 4 days? A year?
A typo in a Tweet isn't hysterically newsworthy, but if you're gonna run an actual news segment on a major network about it, make sure your glass house is shatterproof:

Haha. Democrats better hope this Russian thing goes somewhere. I have feeling most ppl are more concerned about jobs/infrastructure/safety/healthcare choice etc, than this and if Russia doesnt doesn't go anywhere with all the time wasted investigations and obstruction the Media and them will be out of politics for a generation.

I like how Charan's new signature is highlighting Trump's successful 2020 campaign TV ad strategy.

"I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris." -- Trump, on withdrawing from the globally ratified climate change Agreement that happened to be signed in Paris, not Pittsburgh.
Yep, that's who you voted in, America.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. Kathy Griffin, like so many Proglodytes, can happily dish it out, but can't take it:

"He [Trump] broke meeee!" - Kathy "My edge is that I'll go direct for Barron" Griffin
You broke yourself, Kathy, and now even Al Franken wants nothing to do with you. Must've touched some serious nerves, to be shunned by that old clown. =^[.]^=

Second, agreeing on the course of action is always more important than agreeing on rationale. The right move is the right move.
Isn't that just a pissweak rewording of 'the ends justifies the means'?
Because if people only agree on the course of action, not the rationale, then all you have is everyone walking in the same direction, not necessarily at the same speed, with the same gait, or with the same destination in mind. Some might stop well before what the others consider the end point. And so on. Basically, you're wrong. The right move is the right move, but the right move is usually much more than just directional agreement. It's a lot more complicated than that.
In this context, it's Trump withdrawing from a climate change agreement purely for financial reasons. That's the rationale for the move; it defines the moves going forward. Had it been because he felt the climate change agreement was inadequate AND cared about the environment, it would have been a different set of moves.
What you said equates a single move to a full gambit. That's not smart, especially given how little competence with basic strategies Trump has proven with his erratic, typically blocked moves.
It is a tragedy of the commons.
I highly doubt Trump or the republicans don't understand climate change. It is the developed nations that enjoyed most of the fruits of industrialization and trade and the poor countries that suffered the worst consequences of climate change. Asking developed nations of the world to cut down their carbon emissions is socialism. Their spider sense tingling.
