Donald Trump and US politics
"If you mean suspecting that Seth Rich at some point had custody of leaked DNC emails prior to their receipt by WikiLeaks, no, that's neither crazy nor stupid. If you mean suspecting the Rich family of obstruction of justice, yeah, that's more than a little fucked up. Seth Rich was a Democrat who worked for Democrats who comes from a family of Democrats; no shit they're not keen to help a bunch of heavily partisan right-wing conspiracy theorists (of which there are many, piggybacking more reasonable investigations). Also, their son was murdered. "That's the same kind of doomsaying climate alarmists were making last generation. We're still here. The most important thing to understand about global warming is that it would happen without human interference. Based on science estimating earth temperatures thousands and millions of years into the past, the Earth is currently in a heating period, having reached a thousand-year minimum during the "little ice age" of the medieval period and still cooler than our planet's previous maximum millions of years ago. Any anthropomorphic warming is in addition to this natural process and thus blends in with it, making it extraordinarily difficult to separate out. Climate change is a field of science with lots of people working on it, promoting various models. In a hyperpartisan political climate, the models that twist facts to suit theory rather than vice versa tend to get publicized the most. I think the more rational approach is to focus on older studies that put forth a model that has actually been reasonably accurate in terms of predicting changes that have already occurred since the study was released. Following those, what we see is a definite warming trend, but at a pace where environmental catastrophe is impossible until several generations from now, if it happens at all; for the most part, such models simply weren't designed for predicting into the 22nd century. That said, even if the urgency of climate change is hilariously exaggerated by alarmists, I don't think it's utterly irrelevant. It might take several centuries more before we risk hitting a wall with anthropomorphic climate change, but when we get closer we might find it hard to turn on a dime and suddenly change momentum to avoid that wall. I don't consider things like green energy and managing our carbon footprint to be areas of inquiry devoid of value. But I do think we have much, much bigger problems to focus on, problems which threaten ruination on a much shorter timeline than climate change. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " "They should be charged with obstruction" is the 'crazy stupid' I was talking about. Seth's parents aren't trying to hinder the investigation, they just don't want their son's death to be exploited for political gains. When Hannity was talking on twitter with a crazy dude(Kimdotcom If I'm not wrong) that said he had info on Seth's death, their parents invited him to talk with the authorities. So saying they are obstructing justice is indeed crazy stupid. |

" Obviously we need to nuke the 3rd world then, because they are the ones multiplying at insane rates, or at the very least stop all the UN help programs to developing countries. Also completely stop all the immigration into the West, because if the West becomes the 3rd world too, no one will be able to save us from climate change. There are no Al Gores in China & India. The main problems come from China, India and the vast majority of Europe actually. The concentration of population in these areas vs the amount of land that can be used for crops is not sustainable.
The introduction of vertical farming, human waste fertilizer, hydroponics, better logistics of food distribution and the gigantic farming potential of the tundra could be solutions to that current problem, provided that the governments actually accept that there's a problem that need to be solved. There also need to be serious repercussion to those that harvest resources without any regard for the management of the reserves (Read, China). @Scrotie I don't know where you live but the climate change is felt pretty heavily in the north (I'm in Canada). We have shorter winters, much warmer winters albeit there's disruption of the polar vortex that can also cause extreme colds. We also have more and more prolonged periods without rain. There's also the data that shows that we keep having the hottest years one after the other (or very close to beating the record every years). If you are from the US, I'm sure you can find a registry that tell you the amount of tornadoes per year and their relative strength. I'd bet that you can notice a trend that there's more and more of them every year, except when there's a "la nina" in effect. " The Western world has below replacement birth rates. The only reason the populations are stable or growing, is because of immigration from the 3rd world, where they breed like crazy. If you want to stop the growth of consumption and lessen the impact on the environment, you only need to stop all immigration, drastically cut welfare programs and stop all foreign aid. As long as welfare is used to incentivize the birth rates of the poor, the low IQ and militant expansionist cultures, you will have more an more consumers. But the liberal left in not prepared to cut welfare, nor stop immigration and thus has no right to complain about the human impact on the environment. It's not the top 1% monocle rich hwite males, the ones who need to burn millions of tons of coal for their electricity consumption or the ones who need millions of km2 for their food production, right? " The concept of my money is not your money and your money is not mine. And my problems are not your problem and your problems are certainly not mine. If a farmer lose his entire crop to the weather, it certainly is a big deal to him. Or if there is a famine in an area and people starve to death, it is certainly a big deal to that country. The rest of the world can shrug their shoulders and pretend like nothing happened. Indeed it is probably not your concern. People can't understand why the raise of food prices is a major concern to certain people and an non issue to the others. |

People should realize that Seth's parents don't have a say in this. It's always Brad Bauman, a DNC PR crisis consultant, who is speaking for them. Brad was assigned to the family by the DNC.
In other news, the Hillbeast gave a speech again. Of course she couldn't make it through the speech without another coughing fit, but the interesting part was this: ![]() GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Remember the bigly Kushner story about him wanting a secret communication channel to the Russians? The story is based on this:
