" The thing you don't understand is, in some places businesses actually get paid to employ handicapped people and they often are given simple jobs like standing or sitting at the entrance of a business and greet people with a "hello" and a smile to make the place look good. Over the years, I have personally hired a few people to do this kind of work because they genuinely wanted a job and needed one to help support themselves. " I already tried this and sorry but it doesnt work. 99.9999% of employers do not want to employ anyone with an unemployment streak due to illness, and even less so if they still have the illness that caused that unemployment when they can hire a healthy person without those issues instead. You seem to think we live in a magical fairy world where everyone can become whatever they want. Thats not how the real world works.
