Purity + with bloodmagic support gem + Chaos inoculation?

Can i reserve 40% of my 1 hp? (or even more than 50%?)

What about ephemeral edge or carnage heart? can I reduce my 1hp by 10% or 25% or 35%?
(I just bought ephemeral edge and am scared to try it on hc :<)

A year old thread... however to answer, reserving is always rounded up; thus you would instantly reserve 1hp and die.

Still, is reducing also rounded up? Because ephermal edge gives about 40% more energy shield and seems like the item to go with when using Ci. Which would be a cruel joke to play to lvl 50, buy that item and then die xD... speaking of, i did play to lvl 50, i have ephermal edge, only need ci but i won't try that in hc. : /
