My own tree is a bit different as the one in this guide because i picked a few nodes which are very convenient for me personaly but they are by no means a must have.

I was having trouble with the phoenix while using the worm flask, but I probably don't play the char as well as other people might. Instead I tried a different route in taking down the phoenix. I switched out chance to ignite with a Lvl 3 Empower, then faster casting with elemental focus support. Managed to beat him with 3 portals remaining and even brought in a friend towards the end so that he could get the challenge done too.

What would be the best second curse for this build? Enfeeble, Vulnerability , warlords mark ... or? Got 14k ES so I guess more defense isn't really needed.. idk ... Thinking of getting +1 curse chayula though.

If you want to play with a second curse and survivalbility isn't needed anymore go with elemental weakness. It adds way more damage then vulnerability. It will increase you initial flameblast damage and also increases your ignite damage. Therefore it double dips your ignite.

Of course they do stack :)
And the best part of those two is that they double dip your ignite damage. I personaly don't feel the need for a second curse because my damage is already high enough. I would need to invest some points into Whispers of Doom which is in my mind not worth it. But if you get your hands on a +1 chayula it is a completly different story.

Just curious: why did you choose to link Tempest Shield with CwDT? Is it just to have a passive way of triggering EE/MoD? If so, why not something like Spark or Arc (possibly linked with Blind?) to deal damage immediately?

I'd like to say because it adds a bit of defense. But if you want me to be completely honest with you i just really like the look of it. Tempest Shield just looks awesome :D

But i must say i really like the idea to link arc with blind in my CwdT setup. Good thought process you had their ;)

Would not it be interesting to invest points in Holy Fire? Getting 70% of burning damage?
