Just a last question, should i kill all or help oak in normal? I really don't know what to do and i don't have nearly as much currency to spend on resetting the reward. Assuming that i'll be using tabula rasa and etc.

If you are not going to invest in Kaoms then go life. Either way you can't go wrong really. You would most likely use the extra passive for life anyway. This way you only need to level 1 more level to get the same amount of nodes. But you'd have more life... Know that life regen is important to sustain the mana cost. For a higher life regen you need more maximum life. Of course life flasks will help you and the Sulphur flask will help as well.

When you craft your +3 bow, don't you have a chance to hit the +2 bow gems with your exalt ? I know this method work for a +3 with Bow gems, but never tried with an essance +2 fire gems so I'm curious.

Well I am not really a master crafter. I THINK that you can't get +2 to bow and +2 to fire gems on the same item. Tho I can't say I know this. Also if you do get that it may not even be bad. It might be even better, since the EA gem has both the Fire and Bow tag. The bow would then actually be a +4 instead of +3. :)

can't roll +2bow +2fire: both prefixes take the same slot like +2 fire/ice/light etc.. you can pnly roll +1 and +2

You can also use Geofri's Crest as it is essentially a 5 link. However if you can just use a Tabula rasa. That should be enough till early red maps, provided you get good gear in other slots. It will also enable you to not have to link and color the bow for a while.

EA gem scales with levels. Therefore the later you start using it the better. I think that the trees I provide in the "Leveling the Elementalist" spoiler will show you what I think is the optimal path to follow. It also tells you when to respec. You can use these trees and respec as soon as you reach Blood magic + mortal conviction. Go straight for those. Get Elemental equilibrium when you start using EA. You can go in the Duelist area after you start using EA.

I will look at the leveling guide now and update it a bit. You can come check it in a bit and let me know if you are still having problems.

First of all the build looks awesome and the videos make it look like tons of fun. I just had a few questions since i am going to start leveling a character for the build. i already have 12 grand spectrums 6l quill koams etc.


1. which class do you recommend berserker or witch?

2. should i be looking for a +3 bow for t15 bosses/guardians

1. Witch is easy and overall fun. A safe bet. Marauder I have not tested too much. Only played as much as you can see in the videos (not a lot). You'd need to level with EQ or something if you go Marauder. With the Marauder you will see your life flicker from low life to instant full etc. Marauder also takes more damage, but he also deals the most damage. You DON'T have life regen! Uber traps are not fun. But you can even do reflect maps with the right gear and a tiny bit of caution. Cause of his leech + Vaal pact interaction some crazy things are possible.

If you want easy I think Witch is best. If you want more adventure in SC the Marauder will probably be better. With marauder you also get to experience 2 builds essentially as you level with EQ or...

2. Go with Quill rain. You'll have (more than) enough damage and attack faster.

Either way you'll probably have fun. :)
