R.I.P. [2.6] Explosive Arrow - Elementalist Build Guide (multi class + version, in depth theory)
" It depends on how far you want to level. My tree is optimal for 115 points. If you squeeze 2 more levels that may be the way to go. But you might also want to get the 4% hybrid life node next to "Juggernaut". That being said, If you are willing to sacrifice life for damage you could very well do that at any time. I noticed you use 2 diamond rings. The rings are nice, however Opal rings are much better for this build. I strongly suggest to have a quicksilver flask of heat or at least to have that mod on a flask that is not a life, mana or hybrid flask. Good luck with links! You may want to get a t least 1 6 link. |

Hello Greengroove,
I am currently doing your build here, only been using it on a few maps so far, BUT. I am doing the 11 jewel one, but MY GOD am i squishy, I would say one or two hits and i'm dead, and i am at 6000 life? Please take a look at my profile, I am not done with my boots / gloves yet, but that shouldn't make a big difference anyways. Thanks! | |
" Well 6k life is not a lot. I had 8k life at the end and some other builds even have more than that. You have some good gear, but there's a lot room for improvements: I didn't use life leech on EA. The leech rate is relatively slow, therefore you can't rely on it. It doesn't bring damage so I'd say drop leech. You should use chance to ignite for sure. You can use my set ups for reference but ofc you can make it different as well. I would not use reduced duration on single target setup. You don't need Essence worm! A rare ring with life (possibly opal) is much better. The gold ring is also pretty bad cause no life. The belt is pretty bad also. The doriani is better or a leather belt. The wed does nothing. Aoe is NOT IMPORTANT since we have prolif! The boots are ok-ish but can be better. Look for armour and or armour evasion hybrid gear in general. Quality up your flasks! The unique flasks you use are not ideal for this build. They don't give you great advantages at all. Especially if we consider the price range. Note that when you use Vinktar you are also shocked yourself and that may be the reason you die so fast. I prefer to use vaal lightning trap to shock enemies. You also need to augment 2 flasks. The unique flasks are better suited for the Pathfinder. If you really want to use unique flasks the Dying sun may be better. Even that is not needed. Ice golem is not very good for this build. Use the fire one and stone golem. The stone golem will also taunt enemies. You can use 2x golems and you should! I would personally prefer to have paragon of calamity. I explain why in the thread. Decoy totem is good! I suggest that you use the +1 quiver on the single target. Having a rare quiver is also generally better in this build. But since you have a +1 Rearguard we can focus on other gear first. Try to level a few more levels if you can get any more notables by playing magic / regal maps if that is needed. Try to drop the 30 dex node and the 0.8 life regen node and go towards the Duelist area. If you can upgrade your gear with more life I think you'll do much better. Remember that in red maps you need 170% to all resists in ele weakness maps! If you have any more questions feel free to ask. ;) GL |

Hey Green, as i am playing Breach i am able to get cheap grand spectrum, what do you think? stay with the standard tree with 9 rare jewels (if level 93) or respec to the grand spectrum tree and get 12 grand spectrum from breach?
my opinion: damage isnt already enough without em to do uber lab, guardians and clear maps? because i really like 9 rare jewels with life and damage... (still dont have em though but i will buy before breach ends) My opinion may be solid on rare jewels but i want someone who experienced the build's opinion. XD Oh remember that im using Berserker version, and im willing to make a pathfinder too... I already have good things i made on breach to put on my standard EA character such as add arrow rearguard/fire leech rearguard, another quill rain 100% 6l and lookin for a good EA enchanted devotos... xD Well, thank you for the guide! " Just checked the price of viridian jewels! Yeah definitely go for grand spectrum! 9 viridians and 3 crimson is also fine for start! As a Berserker you could also look into a Rare helmet and a rare quiver as well as rare (leather) belt! Get rez and life there and then get 2 shit opal rings with life and essence craft for more damage. It also depends how far you want to take it but considering the reasonable price grand spectum is absolutely great, in fact BIS. |

Hmm, i think the only item i can get rid of is Devotos... i really like the belt and my new rearguards... The belt give us leech damage armor and resists, seriously i cant leave it behind...
(IN FACT, i dont know why get a rare quiver if i can get enough res from a rare helm... a rare quiver would be used only for life and res right? since we get RT theres no much damage we can get from it...) I will start buying grand spectrum, will try too to make a good opal out of that essence and then change a ring for it. Thanks... edit: as for rare helmet, big life and res is all we need right? because i have a helmet with 722 armor on breach that gives 96 life 45% fire res 33% cold res and 2 crappy stats... +1 to minion gem (can be used at least for my flame golem) and 8% chaos res... of course i can get a new one but sometimes find something good on poetrade is hard... Thanks for all again SARCARCONN™ Last edited by Sarcarconn#7460 on Jan 25, 2017, 10:08:58 AM

" Considering you are SC yeah not such big a deal. I suggested rare quiver etc so that you don't need to have resists on rings. If you can keep rearguard and be capped than that is better. Tho Devoto also gives attack speed and movement speed. 2x Opal rings can get you about 110% damage increase! Just life and rez on all items. And +1 to minion is ok and armour is nice as well. If you use like 2 crimson jewels you will have a healthy amount of armour. Note that ele weakness maps you need 170% to all rez! GL. If you can make a video of the build in action when it's complete I'd be interested to see it. :) |

Is the build for Pathfinder the Grand Spectrum version of the build?

" No That was the normal one. If you do a Grand specrum build don't do it with less than 11 jewels. This is the Grand spectrum tree for Pathfinder: |
