Hi and welcome to the game!

From left to right in the top bar:
Move only - Flesh Offering - SRS

Bottom bar:
Shield Charge - Vaal Clarity - Vaal Haste - Vaal Discipline - Summon Stone Golem

That's at least how it should be in the latest video, and the auras are turned on and then another skill is put on skillbar.

The Vaal skills are powerful skill gems that you charge up by killing enemies, in this case 3 different auras.

Can I ask how he got Shield Charge? I looked it up and apparently it's only available to Marauders and Templars. I'm playing a Witch and this guide is under the Witch section, so am I misunderstanding something?

I did all of the guardians in 2.4. with 20/20 gems and in MF gear, so as long as you have a 6L, 8k+ ES, and 20/20 gems you should be able to get them down. There should be videos of kills for all of them in the guide.

Thanks, I'm glad that you like it. It might be hard to lose two dmg gems for the IIQ and IIR so I can see it going slightly slower in higher tier maps. With a +1 shavs and a lvl 4 Empower that would probably be the best gem without any question, I have never dared to corrupt my shav's though as I bricked 12/14 Tabulas last league ;)

The easiest would be to go on to http://poe.trade and buy one listed there, otherwise you can just ask a random marauder, or level a marauder yourself and kill Brutus in the Prison if you want to abstain from trading. You will most likely need to trade to get a few of the skill gems. If you check 2.1.1. Quest Rewards & Buying gems you can see which gems you get from quests and which you need to buy.

How large is the impact of losing Generosity for Envy? I'm trying a different setup and I'm running out of sockets, so I have to give it up.

Without Generosity we're have a bit over 160% aura effectiveness, with ~200%. So in totalt it's about 25% more effective if we use generosity. I don't think you will notice that much of a difference.

It's rarely useful, yes. But when I get my life down and keep casting it works a short time. It would buff me to 161/394 then, and it gives +5 max res. I might replace it though.

I also run a T15 and it works great. Haven't tried on Guardians yet. Ofc the effective +2 gems from the Shavs makes a difference, but especially with Flesh Offering the damage is great. And I bought the Shavs ;-) I usually also don't dare to corrupt it.

I'm a bit newbie and in need of help.
Lvl 85, got most of the stuff right but the Shavrone chest, working on it...
I have trouble on breaches, when i try to solo them, i always get overwhelmed by the mob. Probably the Srs does not kill as fast to keep me away from harm, i'm doing something wrong and dunno what...
6.5k Es, not using any curse... someone told me to try totem + arc + culling + EE

Hello,
for me Vaal skills are key for surviving the breaches. I try to keep Vaal Clarity and Vaal Haste up at all time (as well as Flesh Offering), and use Vaal Discipline while taking damage. That in combination with shield charging around keeps me alive and well in the breaches. If you don't have a 20/20 SRS gem, then I recommend you to buy one, there's usually a few up for 8c or less.

A Staunching flask is also more or less required during the breach, as the bleeding effect will otherwise most likely kill you.

A culling totem with EE would increase your damage a bit, but as we are short as we are on sockets as it is I can't recommend it for this build.

Thus, vaal skills, shield charge/whirling blades, and a staunching flask and you should be alright.

So I gave Shaper a shot and it seems like it should be doable with dps gear. First phase is a bit annoying with the adds, but from the 2nd phase I had Vaal Lightning traps up (and all the other vaal skills too) which helped a lot with taking care with the add portal. Then I messed up a lot a bit later, but I'll see about giving it another go soon enough.
