Using poison gem

reached lvl 90 and killed atziri few times with no prbs. my gear not great but okish.

4k HP with grace 56% phys reduction and can pump it to 86-90% with granite and basalt flasks,

Lvl 88 now with 4.800 life and ~40.000 Tornado-dps (most gems are lvl 16 with 20%).



Next levels I'll take some more DoT/poison-nodes. Haven't done the Uber-Lab for the last 2 points.

I'll drop my gear too since this build is dope af.

I'm currently thinking about starting playing this build but i can't choose between the one with Vaal Pact or the one without. You guys have any experience with those 2 different methods? If yes can you please help me with my decision of choosing one of them.

vaal pact has saved me more than any life regen ever would.. we crit so hard and with 4.3K life and 2 percent leech back, it is a life saver!! im also rocking a lot of defense though; 54 evasion, acro, p. acro, arctic armour, vaal pact and immortal call.

i'd highly recommend the vaal pact version, if you can handle to no regen. It saves us against reflect deaths, aswell as providing good leech against big packs, (since shooting in a pack takes you to full life instantly)

The vaal pact version also allows you to facetank rare and unique mobs/exiles as long as none of their skills can 1 shot you.

Loving the build so far. I've been playing bow builds since my first character and this is one of the best I've played with.

Lvl 85 at the moment, but I don't get why my TS DPS with all 4 power charges up and the Ice Golem summoned don't bypass the 35k threshold. Maybe it's because I don't have the uber lab points yet...

In terms of survivability I'm feeling really squishy. Right now I have 11k armor from evasion conversion and I thought it would be enough, but some T10 bosses wreck me so quickly I can't even see what hit me.

Can anyone help me understand where am I lacking dmg and survivabiity? Appreciate.

This build is amazing. But I need your advice.

I respecced a high level scion into this build (as I didnt want to level, so I went deadeye/assassin ascendancy). There are only a few fundamental differences with my build.

First of all, I have no need for a pierce gem as from the tree/ascendancy and a jewel I can hit 100% pierce chance, so I simply replaced this for a crit multi gem.

As well as this, i'm using acuity for some nice crit chance (to make up for not being assassin), int, and of course the general stats which are desirable.

Im using a kaom's heart as I had one lying around. Do you think I should replace the pierce with a poison gem and play the build this way?
