[2.3] Necromancer SRS - 1H + Shield. Max Block. Extreme Defense & Offense. [T15 + Atziri viable]

Thanks, really appreciate that.
THANK YOU FIERCE-AGENT !

This is my first time doing a srs build in hardcore league and im loving it :)
I used to play a summoner with zombies with poison gem setup along with specre knitted horrors, the single dps was great.

I was wondering how would a poison srs setup would work, like
(GEM)-> srs, spell echo, poison, rapid decay, multistrike, empower (or bloodlust) with knitted horrors spectre.

and the tree would be the same as yours with blood magic.

But anyway, I am having a blast with your guide and i'm feeling really safe with the build :D

Currently lvl77, I just bought my 2 essence ring, im wearing a tabula right now and still feeling tanky.
have played summoner in most leagues and I really enjoy this build -- finally a truly TANKY summoner who can still melt thing down with SRS like before thanks to the ascendancy passives.

**** Leveling suggestion for those who can't afford Essence Worm like me ****

Yes you CAN AND SHOULD switch to Blood Magic earlier in the game (I did this in Normal Act 4 at Lv 38), WITH 1 aura (Hatred) ON. Here's why:

+ You never concern about mana anymore, this also means you can gear yourself extremely easy later (you just put everything with life+res on)

+ It also means you can run 6L SRS at this early stage! (I bought a Tabula, it's cheap, and with all of our life + defence + block nodes, your survival is not a problem) Since you have no mana problem you can sustain 6L SRS with Stone Golem and a bit of life flasks. Also you can cast SRS consistently you will always have more SRS than casting with mana, which means more damage.

+ With Hatred you will have 25% life reserved (with Mortal Conviction), this may look bad at first however Hatred+Generosity brings ~50% damage and since our passives highly focus on Life, we still have bigger life pool than most builds even when we have 25% reserved, and we have blocks too!

+ If you extremely concern about survival you can turn off hatred and 6L SRS can still melt down everything quickly :)

thanks for the build - I'm not doing hardcore but it is nice to play a witch that doesn't die often. I've taken some pretty nasty hits and survived some packs I wouldn't have otherwise. Been wanting to try SRS and glad I found this one!

I used spell totem-srs leveling but switched to Animated guardian for the damage boosts. Took awhile to get rings so was running auras with clarity until then, still worked fine but Blood Magic is so much better.

Fluid motion jewel helps a ton for DEX, but does sacrifice a damage jewel. I didn't need the dex node with fluid motion until Vaal Haste hit level 16.

Any1 tried Uber Atziri etc.? Im playing this build on SC prophecy with a staff tho, and was wandering if I will be able to do Uber atziri etc. with it?
dude, what masters must have??? catarina? and.......
Just curious about the Grip of the Council, will you chose it over Mortis?
Consider that body armor provides more defense, and sacrifice only 5% damage.

Don't bother. Poison SRS would be much weaker than the regular SRS.

That's a good idea if you play softcore. But for HC, I'd advise being more careful.

But if you really don't mind reserving life in standard, then you might as well choose Midnight Bargain over Clayshaper for your 1 Hander. Use it once you have both Essence Worm rings, so you don't reserve more than 30% HP. It's straight up more damage and that minion movement speed should compensate for the loss with "Grip of the Council".

If you use both Grip of the Council and Sidhebreath, then I'd say Fluid Motion is worth the Jewel slot. That's actually the setup I have decided to go with. To get the most out of Sidhebreath, make sure it's corrupted with additional Minion Dmg, like this:

SRS is still very much viable for Uber Atziri. But for your best preparation, make sure to have +3 Staff and Empower lvl 3 or 4 gem with a 21/20 SRS gem.

Haku and Elreon are the most common for every build, but since we use unique accessories in this build, Elreon won't be much of a use. Definitely level up Haku and Zana for mapping.

Use PoE wiki for more information on masters and any basic questions.

Why choose? You should be using both. And you are comparing Minion Dmg with Phys Dmg granted as Cold, which are two completely different things. Grip of the Council is obviously stronger because it takes all your damage and grants 20% of it as extra cold damage. So it isn't just about 20% vs. 15%, it's more beneficial than 5%.

What's your question? Like if the build is viable for Uber Atziri? Yes, but more so with the Staff.

Uber Atziri videos? I am in HC, so I won't risk it. Don't own the fragments anyway, that's another grind. Maybe if the character ever RIPs, then I'll attempt it on standard.
