[2.2] Low Life Tri-Curse Poison Essence Drain Occultist - Uber Viable, 10k+ ES, 40k+ DoT dps

Consuming dark is the best thing you can do for single target, redbeak is no competition. I just looked at your tree and here are a couple of points:

- put energy from within into the jewel socket between pain attunement and melding
- the area damage nodes are pretty useless, ED's damage doesn't scale with area damage
- you can safe two traveling nodes just above MoM
- generally the witch spell damage nodes are pretty inefficient (except for the first one), you should spec out of them and get more jewel sockets
- for survivability I strongly recommend getting essence surge, it synergizes well with wicked ward
- if your clear speed feels low because of your low DoT damage (although 25k is pretty good) i suggest trying out profane bloom. the explosions really are something. alternatively you could just run abyssal cry.

Concerning gear I don't think winds of change or prism guardian are very good for this build. winds of change are great for damage but they don't have any defense. prism guardian also has almost no defense. instead of running a second 50% aura on life try arctic armour.
sorry to ask, as far as i know chaos damage bypass the energy shield, wont that be a problem without CI? what am i missing?
That's what Shavronne's Wrappings is for (the chest armor).

Thanks! I'll get to it.
Hi, am i missing something, or you don't care about the small light radius?
Oh yeah totally forgot to write something about that. Arcane Vision is 3 skillpoints and unnecessary. It's a quality of life thing and some people don't mind losing 3 skillpoints. The good thing about blasphemy is, that you can always see the mobs even in super dark maps like overgrown ruin because of the curses above their heads.
In labyrinth I simply turn off the auras on life, doesn't make a difference for a level 68 zone.
Ok, thank you.
If there are no problems with resists is there any sense in "Winds of Change"? This is looks like massive DPS boost with a loose some ES.
If you want pure DPS you can use Winds of Change. I just think they are better suited for a life based build. My gloves give me 1.2k ES, I just don't think it's worth sacrificing that for some projectile damage and nothing else.
Tried uber for the first time with this build. I did it unsuccessfully with a life-based righteous fire version in 2.1

This was the result:

Died two times on atziri split phase by being bad. Other two bosses were really easy, didn't even use a vaal lightning trap.

Great build, although my tree is a bit different, can see here:
