[2.3]Dela's Obliterate Build CHEAP & FAST clears 200% life UPDATED
any thoughts on deadeye vs pathfinder for the ranger version?
the additional projectile + aoe from deadeye look really really good. |

I've played both versions in 2.2, the pathfinder first and switched then to deadeye. The additional projectile and aoe from deadeye is really good and together with the additional pierce, crit and far shot the damage is significantly higher while the survivability is nearly comparable to the pafthfinder version.
I'm still playing the deadeye version in 2.3 and from my point of view deadeye is superior to pathfinder. |

Fun build lvl86 and having a lot of fun, currently using:

Trying to make 6l next but I was wondering is Cospri's Will better for this build?(without curse on hit gloves) Its poison on curse but it takes time to curse mobs and then KB. Tried it with "curse on hit-herald of thunder" but it curses one mob at the time. Tried with blasphemy also but reserved mana is so high. So is anyone using Cospri's and how are u cursing mobs? Will it work good with curse on hit gloves? Last edited by munnijupp#3862 on Jun 16, 2016, 3:14:25 PM

So I've hit 86 with my elementalist (PSC) and I've managed to scrub together 2ex. Now I'm thinking what to spend it on that would benefit me the most...
Here is my current gear setup:

Should I get Carcass or lightning coil? Or the helm instead? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Edit: I know I need to get the enchants for the rings... but I'm not sure about the current rings yet so I don't want to spend ~40c on the enchants yet. Played an obliterate wander based on this build as my league starter for Prophecy League (softcore) and decided to try a CI variant of it. If anyone's interested, my profile is here (character name: BurstIntoBloomAmaryllis). Passive tree is also there and can use some tweaking to your desires, but I was content with what it ended up with.
Notes about my experience and what my opinion is going a CI variant: - It's hard to get insane amounts of ES without a shield. With my setup which can use upgrades just about everywhere, I'm just under 8k ES. Biggest upgrade would be my chest piece which can easily get me to 8.5k+ ES as a lone upgrade. I feel like 7k ES is sufficient for most cases. - Going CI means getting an ES based chest piece which means it's hard to get the right colors as you'll need about 3 greens on a 5L. - You can ascend as Occultist but I went Elementalist for the sick prolifs. - I had problems getting enough str and dex that I needed an amulet dedicated to it along with a good % ES roll. That means no Eye of Chayula which means getting stunned is a big problem. Well, only a big problems against things that hit multiple times as it can stunlock you to death. - Another big problems is accuracy. Since I didn't go Resolute Technique, that means a lot of my hits miss. And I'm a witch to further escalate the problems. I mostly solved the problem by getting two rings dedicated to high flat accuracy rolls which bumped me from ~70% chance to hit to ~86% chance to hit. I'm satisfied with that chance to hit but it could be better. - Obliterations were so expensive at the start of the league. I wouldn't recommend it as a league starter. The prices dropped heavily after a bit. - Energy From Within (jewel commonly used in CI builds) is somewhat expensive to get a good roll (minimum 10c). - Going CI allows for more utility flasks which let me run a nice setup (basalt, granite, atziri's, quicksilver, and silver) - Going CI unfortunately means no unique hat for movespeed since you need all the ES you can get. - You may or may not need a jewel for some mana on hit (this is true regardless of CI or not). It's not as bad going CI since you can run clarity (which I did along with a jewel). All in all, it's a fun build. Blowing up huge packs is great. And it plays relatively fast. Also, fuck uber lab. |

" As deadeye using crit facebreaker scales much much better as wind of change. I don't know if the difference as witch is in the same range. |

build is a damn blast atm. one shotting every pack at lvl 60. one question though. should i go deadly infusion or toxic delivery first ? both look sexy as hell

So just to clarify, what is the correct way to position frostwall to have max effect? Should I cast it in front or behind the single target I going after? Should I be shooting directly into the frostwall or beyond/right in front of it?
