Poison cluster isn't worth it, I poison frequently enough and the overall damage increase is small since it only affects my poison damage and like you said the damage from hits do a lot of the work anyway and poison damage does not affect that at all.

People only put 1 point into Acrobatics because it's very point efficient even for low evasion as long as you don't care about armour or ES (1 point for 30% dodge for builds that path along there). The extra dodge and phase acrobatics works well with high evasion and while I do have a lot of evasion from dex I am not using an evasion chest nor Grace so my overall evasion is much lower. It might be worth getting Phase Acrobatics if you can get a nice evasion chest and you do switch to using Grace though

why lioneyes vision? siege ballista already pierces. I dont think the 30% more damage is worth losing 1 more totem (e.g. soul mantle) or a kaoms 500-1000 life)

Soul mantle is terrible for this build. U dont need another totem and u def dont need to cursing yourself and loosing defensive stats from chest.

Kaom is decent but proj dmg is the strongest stat along with totem dmg for this build and pierece give more proj dmg.

I am using 6l lightning coil and my last link was either slower proj or pierce since both give more projectile dmg. But piere doesnt have the drawback of slower projectiles.

It's preference really, I used to use Belly of the Beast but felt I didn't need it so I switched over to Lioneye's Vision and it felt much better. Pierce is good for my build because the more damage affects both my totem hits and my ALL my DoTs.

Soul Mantle is horrible, firstly I don't have the time to place a 6th totem and secondly it extremely weak defensively.

Really is the Diablo 3 season 1 and 2 Marauder, which was my all-time favorite build in diablo.

Added a defensive version of the tree, using same amount of passive points as my Lvl 95 character.

However I'm not sure I could make a PvP version since I don't really play PvP much and I'm not really sure how to make totems work well in PvP since they die pretty much instantly there.

If you are poison themed - why don't you kick out the elemental gems like added fire and take added chaos damage, and the rest of the gems all these "more damage" gems?

It gets multiplied with chaos damage, projectile damage and creates poison, while added fire damage doesn't create poison.

With enough proj. damage, including this from drillneck, your poison damage can get higher than the initial hit.

Hey, I've been starting this build as well and I'm currently level 80. I was wondering what your thoughts were behind taking the passives "Mana" and "Mana Flows". They seem rather weak considering the available life nodes you could take instead, for instance. So far I've skipped those two points and I'm not using Clarity either, and the bigger mana pool from not using Clarity means that I end up never having mana issues. Am I missing some hidden point to those two passives?

Nope there is no hidden point, they're just to sustain the mana cost of the ballista without the need for any mana flask.
