Yeah the Alpha's is intensely hard to colour.. I think I used the 1b1r option with Vorici to get mine, don't bother with 2b1r or 2r1b. It'll probably cost more in the long run..

But WOW that enchant... I want it so badly...

I REALLY want to try that cloak but I have no money to 6Link one, haha. Let me know how it goes!

I ended up buying a 2R2B Alpha's for 15C, and I'll farm Uber Lab with my RF totem character to try and get a decent enchantment out of it. Should that ever happen, I'll make the switch on over to that. The lab is very, very, rough on this build. the Lab has so many area transitions, you lose all your weapons really quick. Takes forever to then drop weapons, animate them, pick up momentum again to get through the area, while picking up other weapons to store in your inventory. Traps are non-friendly to block characters with no life regen. Izaro goes down super quick, but the gimmicks in his fights make that troublesome, because you have to kill him after dealing with the other crap, and Convocation has little utility in that circumstance given its painfully long cooldown.

Wearing 2 unset rings, because holy crap is this built socket hungry.

I ran Atziri today on a 5 link Belly at level 76 with level 17ish gems - was amazing. No issues clearing packs faster than I could keep up with the weapons, constant Vaal Haste up, and I ended each section with 100+ weapons animated. Vaal Oversouls died instantly, Trio died almost at the same moment, and Atziri went immediately into split phase almost as soon as I came in. Spell block is phenomenal, and I survived despite not playing optimally.

Unfortunately, I was not properly prepared (threw on the sac set on a lark, not expecting to do as well as I did), and my weapons got her down to about quarter health before they could no longer cope with her flameblasts. I ended up switching to my Dual RF Totem character to take care of the last quarter of her health, as I had no weapons left to get the job done. I think with a Purity of Fire, I'd have steamrolled her. I've got a 20% PoF leveling now, which should make the fight trivial.

I can get a map started by just dropping 1 or 2 weapons on the ground and going from there.

I was able to run tier 8+ maps before I even hit level 70 as well. The DPS on these weapons is insane, and can do just about any map mod I've tried so far (going into an unid'd Blood Magic with 100% mana reservation isn't a smart idea...).

Really loving this build, lab issues aside.

Spoiler

Question: You're not using Arc to proc Elemental Equilibrium are you? If you are using Wrath/Anger, you've gotta use a cold spell otherwise you're gimping the damage from Wrath. Let me know, all I can see is what is reflected in the gear you linked.

Lab is incredibly hard for this build, I think I specified that somewhere in the thread. Especially since you don't get +quantity modifiers so you're stuck with the base % drop for weapons... Cloak Of Tam might help with this..?

When I run through lab I only stay in an area long enough to get an inventory of weapons, then I whirl through until Izaro, rinse, repeat. Sometimes you'll get unlucky though and all your weapons will croak.

I know that some of your resists are tied up into it, but if you can get a Blood of Corruption anumlet that helps IMMENSELY with Atziri. I'm alright at micromanaging my weapons out of her attacks, but Gluttony of Elements is like 14 seconds of immunity against her, its really great, especially for double flameblast.

Something interesting that I am currently testing on my own character is that if you drop some life from the tree and head over to Charisma aura cluster, you can reserve 3 50% Auras and 1 35% Aura. The Necromancer Aura ascendancy node benefits from this and depending on the aura you choose, your minions benefit greatly (I chose Discipline-- I never have to wait for ES to recharge now, working with a 2.7k+ ES pool) You can also blasphemy a curse if you have gem slots. Or use Purity of Elements to buff your resists.

Keep in mind though that you'd need a level 3 enlighten to do this. It'd probably be an endgame goal.\o/ something interesting to ponder.

I wish I could snoop on your tree.

The Necromantic Aegis Keystone? I don't think thats a good idea. I get a lot of my ES for casting from it, not to mention the block and spell block.

Using a totem to summon weapons could be okay, but you're sacrificing a link and instead of just animating a few weapons and whirling away, you've gotta place a totem and wait for it to do that... It doesn't seem worth it to me, you get so much cast speed from vaal haste and flesh offering that its not a huge hassle to summon your own weapons.

Th Arc totem was left over from when I was experimenting with Hatred; I never got around to switching it to a cold spell. I've mostly just been running maps to level and 99% of everything dies so quick that I haven't felt the need for the EE just yet. Eventually I'll switch it out for Ice Nova or something.

I started filling up four or five full tabs of weapons while grinding Voll in my stash; so I always have a decent supply. I can drop those before an Izaro fight, which seems to work pretty well. But I'm really just not going to use this build for lab farming; it's almost as if GGG specifically designed the lab to be unfriendly to Animate Weapon in almost every way. :P

If I get better boots & gloves with resists & Dex on them, then I'd be able to switch out that amulet.

I was also planning on experimenting with Prism Guardian to run another aura or two, maybe Arctic Armour; even though that would very negatively impact my block chance, I have Bone Offering up about 99% of the time. Only costs an alc or two to get the shield, so I'll play with it.

Getting Charisma is an interesting idea, I might go for that. I also am leveling up half a dozen level 2 Enlightens, some with 20% quality, so I should be able to get a couple level 3s this league, and if my Uber Lab farming goes well, maybe even a couple level fours. Been playing around with the aura calculator, and I see a lot of interesting possibilities there. Like using the Necro ability with enough auras and dropping haste in favor of something else.

Something I wish for beyond reason is control clicking items in your inventory to drop them on the ground. >_<

Oh my god I am a complete and utter MORON. Why didn't I think of putting weapons in my stash.. they let you have access to it right before Izaro!!! I would be trying to kill Izaro with like 8 daggers. omfg I feel so stupid. Thanks for pointing this out. Its been so long since I've done lab-- do the weapons persist when you go through the door to Izaro? If so I would just whirl through the whole damned place instead of picking up weapons like a moron.

You should definitely be using the Necromancer aura ability even with 3 auras, as the 20% resists for allies is not something to be ignored. Really helps weapons against elemental stuff.

I don't think you should drop haste if you get that node though. I use both. Though I guess there are some interesting reservation options you could try out. You could empower + generosity your Auras in your helm and run 1 35% aura for 95% Mana reservation, or get rid of the jewel for 97% reservation. Empowered, Generosity auras would be NUTS, but 3 Auras don't work out into a level 20 Haste

I'm not sure how well a Prism Guardian would work out. You'd be able to get more Auras in, but we don't have ES covering our life pool, I'm not sure that MoM and Block would be enough? Something to test though, let me know if you do try it out, I'm curious.

Here is my current tree with Charisma:

You pretty much have all the essentials, so if you want you could use the rest of your levels to head down there.

What about adding the Dancing Dervish to the mix? What are your thoughts on this, guys?

I have no idea how that sword works, but it seems like an entirely different build.

Like in an offhand? Sure, move speed and inc damage are good for weapons.

Have you considered using Kintsugi instead of Belly? I know coloring it will be hard but maybe there are other gem options.

Its definitely not a bad choice. But like you said, colouring would be a total nightmare.

You could use it with Poison Weapons, maybe? I haven't dabbled with them too much, but from my understanding its even more defensive (purities, etc)

I think the links for Poison Weapons were... Animate Weapon - Poison - Increased Duration - Minion Damage - Added Chaos Damage - .... Void Manipulation? I can't remember. It might've been rapid decay but I could be totally wrong.

GGGBBR is easier to hit on Kintsugi than my current colours, though.
