The Occultist Ascendancy (Forbidden Power) is quite good to sustain power charges, considering that this character is crit capped and Freezing pulse hits very fast.

Hey another question. Does vile bastion basically act as a ES leech for kills? I was thinking of doing chaos damage, ES and ES recharge rate instead of going for vile bastion so i get increase ES and dps. I want leech especially since i like facetanking but i dont wanna lose dps with a 5l.

So its the 10% chance to generate a power charge that is used. Alright.

Yes youre right, but its not a LEECH, its REGENERATION - that means it does not apply instant like the Life Leech with Vaal Pact. It is a good thing for curse immune map mods but not that tanky.
Vile Bastion is a very good to have but not really mandatory Buffer/Addition.
But the most Tankines comes from The 2% Life Leech from Warlords Curse and Atziris Promise which applies instantly.
Normally you dont need the Life Leech gem in your 5L.

How do you generate 6 power charges? whith your skill tree, you should, have max 5... ( have you taken power charge near shadow start?

3 power charges are baseline, 1 from helping Alira in Merciless, 1 from the skill tree and 1 from the Occultist ascendancy, Forbidden Power. Total = 6. :)

Hey, I never played a low life build before, so I don't know how to start with it and when to respec etc.
Should I just follow the tree normally from 0 to 72 or is there some kind of hybrid lvling tree where I respec at 72.
And what would be the best skill to use until I go low life with freezing pulse?

You can lvl with FP from the beginning.
Start with Discipline + Clarity as mana reservation.
Try to get the pyre Ring as soon as possible to benefit from Snowforged, Fire Walker and the izaros trumoil Jewels.
When i was leveling i first went CI + GR + VP.
I Also was using Life Leech gem until i added WM.
Add Blasphemy + Warlords Mark and Enlighten.
With lvl53 you can equip the daggers to do not have to worry about reflect.

Naked Pre Low Life Tree


As soon as you can equip Shavs respec the 6 CI points into the Written in Blood cluster and Pain attunement + arcane vision.
Now xou can reserve Warlords Mark + Blasphemy + Blood Magic on your life Pool.
Add now Arctic armour to your Mana reservation.
After that you can now focus on pumping up your DPS. First start to push your critchance and crit multi with Doomcast and Throatseeker.
Try to get down to Primal Spirit do reach your strength requirements and lvl up BM gem a bit more.
At this point you should be able to swap clarity from Mana reservation to Life reservation.
Add another Aura to your manapool - in my case Purity of elements.
Then fulfill Sniper and Fangs of The Viper.
Next skill into the Chaos Nodes.
And at last skill the melding cluster and get use of the Energy From Within Jewel.

Currently 85 man and loving this build in perandus. Playing on a 5l shavs but plan on getting empower/6l when it migrates to standard. Been asking a lot of questions but how do you deal with stun? only rips have really come from that because of my low stun avoidance. Also, any news on trying uber? thinking of getting legacy consuming dark and a gg spirit shield to try it once i get to around level 91-92.

Also, can you explain how you have 95% crit? I am nowhere near 95% even with power charges
