Normally yes, but if you stand in two of the double Flameblasts not. You will survive one of them but the second will kill you.
A little bit of movement is recommended in this phase.

If you were to run this build without the conversion from cold -> fire -> chaos, would you run Life Leech and pick up Vaal Pact? Or what other suggestion would you have to combat reflect if you were going to run this build as a normal freeze pulse in HC?

- If you want to do that, Life leech gem and VP is a mandatory.
- I would also equip a shield instead of dual wield or 2H (Rathpith Globe would be a good choice or you try it with staffels Frame, with staffels frame you will get less ES but additional max res).
- Equip Stone of Lazhwar
- Skill into the Mindbareer Cluster instead of Snowforged to get Higher Spellblock.
- Run purity of Ice with quality instead of purity of elements (to get more max res) if you can cap your other res.
- Use Faster casting instead of elemental focus to lower your tooltip Damage.
- Implement a Sapphire Flask and rumis in your Flask Setup.

Feel free to implement as much of this preparations as you need untill you can play safely.

Overall you will loose a big amount of dps and critchance but you will be able to handle reflect if you are carefull. But I still wont advise you to do that in HC.

1. How do you fulfill the stat needed for gems (immortal call, hi level blood magic, etc)?
2. Do you think using rigwald crest is necessary? as you can use resis ring instead, and drop the purity of element
3. How do you feel about sustaining mana? I understand you use mana flask, but is the any alternative without using it?

I'm sorry for the whole lot of question, I'm currently playing your build and that's the problem I encounter. Not yet a big dps dealer, but I'm still on my way there.

Why do you use the chaos variation? You could just replace the chaos nodes with fire/cold ones from the passive tree and use the Fire Penetration gem instead of Empower and use Pierce instead of Void Manipulation when you're fighting bosses, and instead of the Consuming Dark get daggers with high spell dmg, spell crit chance, global crit chance and global crit multi which will significantly increase the dps of Freezing Pulse, and even mana regen if the affixes allow it. The only thing you lose is the poison, which only matters vs bosses since mobs die instantly anyway.

Being immune to reflect is nice.

Chaos damage nodes double dip on poison, which is a very nice factor in single target fights, since FP hits fast and hard, so the poison debuff can really stack up.

Leech from chaos damage while under the effect of Atziri's flask is immense when all of your damage is chaos and this helps a lot when fightning curse immune mobs or bosses who are innately resistant to curses.

1. with Primal Spirit, Physique and Practical Application you should have enough strengt for Empower, Blood magic dont need to be max lvl. If you dont have enough strength from tree use cold to fire instead of empower.
2. No, rigwalds is not necessary i like it because it has good damage, manareg, a bit of res and it was very cheap (1 chaos). Depending on stats and rolls a good Diamond ring can be even better for this slot.
3. Dont have any mana Problems. Normally Manaleech from Warlords and Clarity is enough that you dont need Mana Flasks. I only use them for disspelling Freeze and Bleeding (cos they have many charges and im too lazy to pay attention if im frozen or bleeded :)) but on low or no mana reg maps i need them.
No reg mod is the only weakness of this build :(

I use chaos cos:
- i dont have to worry about reflect.
- i like the Purple effect.
- monsters mostly have no or low chaos res.
- i like the conversion synergies (Snowforged, Rogwalds Cresr, Izaros trumoil, Rothfeather Talisman).
- i like the poison how it drains down the life of Bosses while im positioning.
- i do the same dps or even more than a cold FP Build can do without Void Batteries.

I use chaos nodes cos i get 20% chaos res from tree.
I play this chaos FP Build cos it is not like a simply standard FP Build.

Hi.

I'm a casual player, and as such I'm always quite poor.

But this build looks fun as hell. I dropped an infernal mantle recently, and I could MAYBE afford one of the daggers if I put all I have together. Never two of them. I could also get a pyre as it's cheap.

My question is, can I run it with only 75% conversion from one dager and the mantle and still have fun ? I'm not going to play hardcore or Uber Atziri or things like that, I just want something different and this build looks like a lot of fun, is it ruined completely by the fact that I can't afford all the items ?
