" It's not quite correct. Right now you need windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe regardless of architecture, because PoE runs in WOW64 node in 64bit windows and doesn't have 64bit executables. After digging through the log, it looks like some of the issues we are all having could be the fact that our Windows is not fully up-to-date which apparently causes issues with vc_redist installations.

I straight-up can't install the VC Redist. Not sure why. I can't install the Service Pack Transparency7 linked either, which prompted me to download a "system readiness tool" which did not help. What Microsoft says I need to do to install that service pack is reinstall windows, which must have somehow been configured to prevent me from updating this stuff.
I am not going to reinstall windows. |

Is anyone who are windows 7 instead of w7 sp1 can install that 2015 version successfully? The vcredist2015 need windows 7 sp1, but I get an error 0x80070422 while updating to sp1. I am trying tons of ways to solve it but none of those work. I will update if I can make it.
