Was very useful and interesting reads. I am going for something similar. My latest version is this one: Link Notable change are south map: - I lose nodes around Master of Arena, Dervish, 3 Gems - I gain Atrophy (+61% chaos) and Dirty Technique (+70% Dot, but also dot duration), Tinck Sink (+22% life) and Revenge of the Hunted nodes (+20% life) According to my current spreadsheet, your dps would be around 25% higher (maybe more if we can include some additional frenzy charges). Frenzy charge add incredibly more dps. That's what I would like to add (Sleight of Hand is much weaker than 1 Frenzy for instance) My real lose are finally, Few accuracy and +2 to Melee weapon range that I can't replace. |

" You are welcome <3. Your tree seems sub-optimal. Chaos and DoT nodes are not worth it over physical nodes, among other things because upfront damage is always better than DoT damage. More pressingly, though, you are missing out on two jewel slots. As a result, I get more life as well as damage and defenses. Can't remember exactly what the value of one Frenzy charge was, but it was definitely weaker than a jewel slot, so you should prioritize those. I think the translated value was around 40% phys dmg, so roughly as good as Slight of Hand, but not up 100% of the time. It also changes depending what other nodes and equipment you have, though. Either way, good luck with the build. |

" This is true only if you have similar bonus for your Physical damage and Dot/Chaos Damage. But the more "Increase physical damage" you have, the less you need it. Let's take a simplified example Case #1 (Same bonus on phys and chaos - here no bonus): Your base physical dmg is 100, No bonus phys; No bonus chaos/dot: - Physical dmg: 100 - Dot: 80 - total: 180 10% increase physical dmg - physical dmg: 110 - dot: 88 - total: 198 vs + 10% increase dot or chaos: - physical dmg: 100 - dot: 88 - total: 188 ==> Increase physical dmg is indeed better in that case Case #2 (Bonus on phys is hiher than chaos) Your base physical dmg is still 100, 900% increased physical bonus; No bonus chaos/dot: - Physical dmg: 100 + 900% = 1000 - Dot: 800 - total: 1800 +10% increase physical dmg - physical dmg: 100 + 910% = 1010 - dot: 808 - total: 1818 vs + 10% increase dot or chaos: - physical dmg: 1000 - dot: 800 + 10% = 880 - total: 1880 ==> 10 % Increase dot / chaos is now better than 10 % increase physical dmg About Frenzy charges, If I remember it is a flat ~7/8% More damage. And with your bonus (increase physical / increase dot...) it require a huge amount of "+x% increase" to get same value. Now you are right that frenzy charge are not up 100% of the time. I can try to share with you my spreasheet on Monday if you want. There is a special column with your charactere. I made it to confirm my caclulation with yours (initial post).
