Overlooking very minor skill point efficiency amounts in the tree, Templar, Maurader, Scion, Shadow and Duelist can all use this build (Duelist, looking at the tree and where I plan to branch out looks to be 3 points inefficient at around level 92-95 I'd say).

They all look really good as far as ascendancy choices. I think Trickster and Scion-Berserker-Occultist are the best choices. I wish that Scion's Berserker came with mana leech. I like Assassin also, I listed the ones I'd be looking at.

Shadow-Trickster:
Looks like a strong choice, cast speed after whirling blades in conjunction with mana and mana regen. Added life/mana regen on kill is an enormous boon as well. My own preference would be to omit the frenzy charges explicitly because it wouldn't help a great deal against Atziri or double vaals.

Scion-Berserker-Occultist:
10% more multiplier, constant life leech, -15% chaos resistance (which is basically another more multiplier). 5% increase damaged taken hurts a bit, especially with righteous fire...

Shadow-Assassin:
Having reduced damage taken from damage over time sounds really interesting. Power charges would always be maxed with this, but we'd only get 150% crit chance in doing so. (At best you could get 4 power charges, if you dug deeper into Shadow... You pick up crit along the way in doing so, which would be interesting to see).

Templar-Inquisitor:
20% cast speed after using whirling blades sounds interesting... As does consecrated ground on kill and when hit, as that's 4% life regen in conjunction with 50% reduced mana cost.

Duelist-Slayer:
This is all dependent on Warlord's Mark for leeching purposes, but I'd be very curious how long those leeching effects could be sustained against boss fights like the trio. Could sustained leech in this fashion actually mitigate the need for regeneration when using Righteous Fire? How long can we extend our leech duration in different scenarios? (during Atziri, during trio, during mapping, etc.)

Maurader-Berserker:
2% life AND mana leech after kill for four seconds would help in mapping situations and trio. 40% more damage is really tempting but 10% increased damage taken is dangerous for this sort of setup (Actually that'd be awful considering Righteous Fire causing increased damage, hm...).

Maurader-Juggernaut:
Some good defensive options, life regen on fortify and extra damage is nice, I like endurance charges and having them for free, and reduced elemental damage taken is nothing to scoff at.

Shadow-Saboteur:
Firestorm with cluster traps sound interesting, but it's something I'd want to see tested first, especially when compared to self casting. If I understand the terminology correction, for every trap you have out, you'd gain 8% increased damage. Cluster traps add 4 additional traps per use, and add 7 to your trap total, giving you 80% increased damage. Using the chained detonation should theoretically all trigger at the offset of the cast. You could also use this in conjunction with remote mines (although would AOE be increased with all abilities when you have mines out? This might reduce your single target against bosses). Also I don't know how the links would work, you'd probably have to do Trap, Firestorm, Cluster Trap, Void Manipulation... Or we would have to use the Deerstalker boots to give us a 5 link. I would be very curious, as this might offer some really powerful added damage against double vaals and Atziri's split phase. The caveat is we run both of our vaal lightning traps at the same time against double vaals (But if they die at the same time does it really matter?).

How would you run this build after the nerf to Consuming Dark's conversion?
Dual-wield for 100% chaos dmg or 1 dagger and Mantle where you end up with only 75?

I myself running this build atm with double Consuming Dark but I feel like the dmg is slightly low. Might be my gear but I don't know where would I end up with only 75% conversion.
is this build still viable with the new update i plan on making this on standard with legacy consuming dark. if it is can you update tree
