" The ES on my boots and gloves are lower than I'd like and I got the gloves cheap because of the enchant ruining the spell damage. I totalled my currencey on a 6 link so when I save up enough I'll swap out my boots/gloves. I get 9.643 ES unbuffed. |

After ripping once at level 55 due to a corrupting blood essence cause I'm bad and ran out of flask charges lol.
I leveled up again with this build and overall it doesn't feel too slow. I am kind of a slow leveler in HC anyway. I am loving this build so far though, just finished my Uber Lab last night which was a joke. After picking up Void Beacon, it feels much smoother now. I'm level 87 in LHC now, and I feel so tanky right now. Sitting just under 11k ES without ring enchants, and no Energy from Within jewel yet. I am still waiting on my Enlighten to level so I can swap some points out and pick up Melding and Energy from Within. After getting both of those, can probably be upwards around 12-13k ES which will feel great. I love this build for breaches, you have like 100% uptime on Vaal Discipline and everything is more or less cursed all the time. I am only doing T8-T10's right now since I am trying to finish my Atlas for those levels, but I rarely have to use defensive flasks. Atziri's is generally enough to keep me topped off. On another note, I run conc. effect full time, I feel the radius of the AoE is more than enough still and outweighs CD. Once I get a 6L I might swap in and out for CD, but with CD my uptime on EO goes down quite a bit. So honestly, might never swap back to CD. Can't wait to push harder content with this, I love this build so far. ALl in all, I have probably spent maybe 60 chaos or so on my gear, which is pretty budget imo for it's power. |

" I too run conc effect all the time (and switch to elemental focus on certain bosses). Currently level 92 and I don't even use my keyboard (wither and all my flasks are on my mouse). The other hand goes on doing more important stuff. And I only have 10k ES!! Done everything except shaper and uber atziri. Just doing T13-15 rare maps and guardians if I get the maps these days. On another note, I'm not using mantle or dual-wielding consuming dark, and I found out "added chaos gem" does more chaos damage output instead of controlled destruction (correct me if im wrong). Also, I have about 14% crit chance due to lack of CD so my elemental overload is up most of the time. You can test these out and see which one fits you better. :) |

" So you are using only CD for the 30% conversion? I can't see your profile, do you have a 6L? What is your gem setup like? Not using mantle would free up room for more resist/ES to make you more tanky, but I don't know how much you are losing with dropping mantle. I only have a 5L, but maybe a 6L would still be more than enough damage to drop mantle at that point. If you are only converting the 30% though, you leave yourself open to a little more ele reflect dmg and no +1 gems and less double dipping.. Just curious, I think it could be completely viable as well. |

@hyu: Proving you wrong :P Did you factor in EO, Malediction and Atziri's Promise into your support gem comparison? I already tested and discussed this in detail in game, some bits of that can be found on pages 57+.

I also sniped a nice "The Gull" helmet with a pretty high ES roll so my total ES dropped to about 9.2k with Discipline from 9.4k with Discipline. The shrine buffs are quite nice and the lesser impenetrable shrine boosts ES to 10.7k. I thought the buffs would just randomly apply to you but instead the shrines "drop" from the mobs so you have to click them to activate. This can be nice as it gives you some control over the buffs you get.
I still want to boost my ES as I have now started doing T12 maps. The ones I did went fine with dual CD but maybe I should swap in a shield. As belt I'm now using the Ascent from Flesh but everyone seems to be using an Auxium. This is what I'm using. You guys think this is ok or should I get am Auxium or other crystal belt with high ES? Low life tree so I had to sacrifice some good passives from the original tree :( Added a bunch more jewel sockets cuz it was hideously expensive to find good resists on ES gear. Running discipline, anger, dual blasphemy, and arctic armour. But I wanted to say low life (pain attunement) is not really an ugrade because I only have 11.5k ES and around 4.1k tooltip dps in hideout, which is around the same (or lower) than the original build! Having a few more auras is probably the only advantage. Edit: sorry I warped your build so much. I didn't level with this build in mind, so I had to adjust. The original build is brilliant. " Funny enough I also just had a Gull mask drop for me this morning. I tested it out in Dried Lakes randomly, but I find it somewhat annoying to have to click on the buffs. Especially since you can't really see the buff until after your FS stops and the mobs die(think it takes a second or so for the buff to appear). I feel like it would slow me down in the long run, even though the buffs are a nice little bonus. There is also the resist problem if you start running too many uniques. So I will probably stick with a nice high ES helm with resists and the ability to craft that stun resist over the Gull. I also bought a sick ring and neck last night for a few ex each to help with str/dex problem and resist problem. When I get an actual exalt, I will craft %es on it. I just want all the resist I can so I can sacrifice my tri-res helm and shield for something maybe with one or two res but high ES. I think the reason people are using Auxium is for the help with freeze. Until I could afford an Auxium, chilled maps or the frost guys could freeze you pretty easily. I'm blowing my mind trying to figure out how to achieve a better tooltip number. I have 4224,5 firestorm hideout tooltip with golem buff. Sitting on 13,6k ES.
