I tried out Bino's Kitchen Knife thinking it would offer the superior playstyle with poison prolif Bear Traps. It turned out to be nice with Bladefall dealing with stragglers more easily. The increased DoT damage also helps. However, the prolif range was too short for my taste so I ended up getting a Divinarius instead.

A Bino's should be a serious consideration, but is likely more of a preference thing. With Bino's I was thinking I could go towards the southeast area of the passive tree instead. But since I went with a Divinarius, I will be going toward the Templar AoE nodes.

I was using Sunblast and Deerstalker, but ended up changing them out. It took way too much out of my already weak defenses.

Currently running Blasphemy Temporal Chains and Arctic Armor in addition to a CWDT IC and self-cast EC setup in conjunction with Acrobatics, Phase Acrobatics and Atziri's step.

I used to run EK-Trap-Multiple Trap-Trap and Mine Damage-Poison as an additional trap, but ditched it.

Another option is to run Vaal Lightning Trap-Increased Duration-Increased AoE for shocked ground and increased dmg.

Taste of Hate and Atziri flask would probably be a huge dps increase.
Well your gear is already much better than mine, so yo should be doing well enough for yourself. I'm planning on grabbing a 5L chest and better boots to work with as well. I'm thinking about carcass jack and rare boots with life+resists as a base point. Another option is actually a Cherrubim'so Maleficence, even though I don't benefit from the leech. Thanks for giving everyone more content to work with 7thDayTheory, it's awesome to see other people putting work into the build.

I also went for Acrobatics/Phase, but I wanted to go for maximum evasion as a means of survivability because of the playstyle of this build. It is very in/out, throw some traps and run away, which means that in softcore at least we can exploit the entropy mechanics of evasion since enemies are only going to get a few swings at me. I run Grace for even more evasion, but I find I eat up my mana pool quite quick so I stuck with just keeping it at 50% reserved.

You'll notice I am running an unconventional choice for a wand: Eclipse Solaris. For the playstyle of "pray to RNG I never get hit", it actually works very well with me. With acrobatics, ~14k evasion AND 50% blind chance to any melee enemies that come close to me, I'm practically invulnerable to melee as long as I don't stand still. And I personally find the DPS to be high enough already that I don't need to worry about my weapon slot too much. The crit chance on blind enemies is nice. I'll probably replace this with a higher DPS weapon when I get to the super late game.

I really should get around to getting defensive gems set up; Immortal Call - CWDT - Warlord's or something, but I've been very lazy and haven't acquired the gems :P. To be honest I have no problems with survivability anyway.

Damage is top notch, and the build is very fun.

Havent been able to play since the update last night, 12/22. Did the poison nerf hit us hard?
Didnt realize it was changed. Probably worst case scenario would be that it's nerves too hard. In that case I will just spec out of chaos and dot nodes and compensate with master sapper and go phys bf with ek support traps and run hatred and hoa. Most gear would remain unchanged except binos would maybe be worse. Not sure as it might actually prove to be better than before if poison isn't nerves to the ground. Not at home so haven't been able to check yet. Thing is, bf and trappers are so strong now that whatever happens to poison it won't actually break phys bf trappers
The poison bug fix affects Bladefall, how? It was a fix with chaos damage bases + poison. Bladefall is all physical base.
I was tired when I asked the question early this AM, had not drank my coffee yet. Now I see the patch not says poison and chaos dmg. Will not touch us. Back to work.
Having tremendous fun with this build.

Also following the Acro variation instead of going for Templar nodes-

Level 75 Tree

To that end, blew most of my chroms getting my Daresso's set up for Bladefall so I could swap Deerstalkers for Atziri's. My next major goal is figuring out some way to make up the resists I'd lose by equipping Ming's, since my current rings are doing a lot of heavy lifting in the Res department. On the plus side, Free Endurance Charges!

Current Gear

Also need to figure out what to put in my boots. Genuinely unsure what's worth while slotting there.

I had to drop Sunblast to switch to this setup, but the only actual difference is I can no longer conveniently blow up barrel stacks.

I just recorded a video (December 23rd 13:00 PST) and the build seems to be working fine. The loss of Sunblast is not affecting me at all, and the small loss in trap damage is worth having capped resists. Nothing in the recent patch made any difference to our build from what I can see, poison is still doing its dps and obviously the physical portion of our damage is untouched. The video link is here (still uploading atm), and includes a little bit of a talk through my current gear, potential gear, skill tree, and playstyle in a Graveyard map. Hopefully it helps other people who want to know how the build works and how it plays in a mapping scenario. Thanks for sticking with the guide and contributing your own information to help others as always!

Edit: Video is done uploading and is up now, YouTube still not giving me the option for better resolution unfortunately. I'll be off for the next two or three days with family and friends so I may not update/stream, but I will be streaming and uploading videos on my journey to 90.
