it adds damage that's why you use ele damage with frenzy.




Ah, so it adds the damage. The way it's worded it looks like it increases the elemental damage you're already doing, so I couldn't figure out why it would be used on a physical attack. That makes more sense. Thanks!
Some decent starting gear for this type of build



All of which add some nice elemental damage that would be impossible/very hard to obtain otherwise, you can also run most of these at level 12~

I'm 44 now, enjoying this build very much.
The only item I've replaced thus far out of what I've linked for "decent starting gear" are the boots, with


I may be wrong, but we try to get whatever we can +elemental and it seems to work out great for me.

Also the skeleton totem while not a "must", is very very useful.

We're a ranger, and we pump out massive ranged damage, we're always going to be squishy.

I have a 77 Marauder who gets 9 endurance charges with 6k life and I still get shit on sometimes, more or less instagibed.

Take it slow and have faith.

Main reason: It's 5 points to get there. Also is that worth losing resistances and health over gaining an extra 32% buffs? maybe. try it out and see how the damage works out for ya, and let me know.
My updated version of the build utilizing some stuff from duelist area. I think I love this, lost 15% AS from berserking but gained 12% from the new duelest area keynode plus various other dmg and defense increasing goodies.

Since Wednesday, the 15% attack speed node has been dispaced.
I just get Blood Magic (on lvl 28). Should I rather take Unwavering Stance and spend some skill points to take Berserking (4 more skill points required) or follow kuromahou's build?
(where 9 skill points will be required)

The question is : Is Unwavering Stance so important?

I just go through the bottom from iron reflexes grabbing +15 all, the life nodes/golem's blood, 15% attack speed, unwavering, and then blood magic

Need advice, my DPS drops using the rare quiver. Does the %ele not add to DPS?
