Skiazos, for this build , for bow, we should choose low dps + tri elemental or highest physical dmg

I am not Skiazos but I thought I would comment.

I have only slightly started playing with the math but I think the real answer will be it depends where you are in the tree. If you already have all the elemental dmg nodes then you probably want more elemental dmg on your weapon if you can get it.

I think the main thing though is you want to have a fast weapon. I decided to go the elemental hit route instead of frenzy though so a faster weapon is even better for me.

As I am currently sort of poor (trying to spend all my money on a 5L chest piece so I can add IIQ) I am making due with my old physical bow as I am lvl 56.

At some point in the not so distant future I want to be able to afford a 5L bow with some elemental dmg and overall more DPS but we will see how that goes.

One thing to note though if you do go for more elemental dmg on your bow then your life leach on you single player attack is going to be less effective.
I have switched to this bow now and I have seen quite a bit of a DPS jump. This is with still missing 3 x 10% increased elemental damage nodes. I also do not have iron grip yet which may have made things overall a little more even. This bows DPS is a bit higher in general than the previous one as well.

So I have been playing around with the final build a bit and wanted to ask a bit of advice. What do you guys think of this build below? I don't need the extra resists taken by Nalaa (at least I won't once I hit lvl 69 and chrom some boots).

Here are the overall differences in comparison.

My build:
+10 str
+20 dex
+10 int
+36% increased evasion
-15% fire resist (I don't need it)
-15% cold resist (won't need it when I hit lvl 69 anyways)
-6% elemental resists
+18% attack speed (6% for bows only)
-iron grip (using an elemental bow right now and elemental hit)
-18% increased Armour
+20% increased projectile damage
-8% movement speed (leather and steel at least partially makes up for this)
+8% increased physical damage with bows (can't really avoid this)
+ ignore all movement penalties from armour.

I am thinking the extra evasion should cover the loss to armor. Let me know what you guys think.

This build does take 1 more passive but gives more DMG and I believe more overall armor.

Well I hope this thread isn't dead. I am now contemplating maybe grabbing inner force. 113 points total. Depending on how I am feeling about my HP I might try and grab Inner Force soon.

I feel this would be better for those wishing to take advantage of the duelist nodes, on top of getting inner force.

So you grabbed Inner Force but still grabbed Leather and Steel as well as the acceleration. I think I will have to see how the next few levels go for me. I still need to respec a couple of points to be able to get into that Duelist starting area, but first I am going to grab the 3x10% elemental nodes. By then I will be lvl 69 and as long as I get the right socket colours on my boots I will be starting maps, unless I get bored of docks sooner.

I am even contemplating maybe keeping some of the original tree but maybe picking up some extra chaos resists.

Here is my current tree:

Why is this all the way down on the 5th page? Took me a while to find it.

Anyway, in A1 Cruel and loving this build so far. Thanks for the guide!
Free bump from me too.
Have used this built up to lvl 74 so far.
Worked fine.

Linked an additional Devouring Totem to the Totem- Block suggested by the guide in the meantime. Makes beating some of those yellowish Necromancer/Skelleton combinations a bit easier imho.

how do you guys deal with reflect mobs? i find myself almost one shotting myself (or shooting off so many arrows and boom dead real quick)

also, what skill to spam 1v1 against a reflect mob? i figured frenzy, but even with frenzy i'm losing more than i'm regening, forcing me to stop back off and pot for a moment. thats tough when the mob is an unfortunate regen & ele reflect

i use frenzy to 1v1 reflect, frenzy makes now about 16k dps and feels like i get health more than with LA and life on hit.. also 80% res helps a lot.
