I'm looking for the simplest, tankiest, cheapest SWT build. On a side note...man I miss SWT's 100% knockback...oh and totem placement distance sucks so badly now too. :-( Wish there was a way to increase that. Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.
I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_- |

Any help on levelling progression with the shadow tree and when to switch properly to shockwave totem?

" the best defense is the offense. they wont touch you if you position well, some will be KO some will be shocked or frozen. If you didnt play SWT before and dont believe this just do the build HEGEMONY style with endurance charges and maybe trickster subclass but your clear speed will suffer more defensive options include life regen (for lab, including stone golem) and/or flask nodes (KarvarouskuGaming: alchemist is good for any build) Last edited by wsbisev#0627 on Mar 3, 2016, 11:33:09 AM

" This VOD might help some: http://www.twitch.tv/dsfarblarwaggle/v/44261328 I've studied it and took some notes then tried it. I'm level 47 right now in Cruel act 3 and this is working perfectly. I've added SWT at the end of Normal linked with Physical to Lightning + Faster Casting + Increased Area of Effect. I'm still using traps though because they do so much damage with SWT. Works great so far ! I recommend taking at least the Saboteur passive and respec later when you ditch traps. I'm still figuring out how to progress through the tree though. Prioritize crit? HP? I am currently updating this for everyone in Ascendancy. Assassin and Inquisitor tree has been added. Debating if I should make another video for it.

" Maybe add some info about differences in leveling between shadow / templar. Looking at shadow tree, switch to dual totems + EB + MOM will be around 60-65. Will we be using 2 auras? Hatred (for the freezing) and Blasphemy + Assassin's Mark? I'm not sure I'll be able to sustain mana while using Frenzy... Unless Vaal Clarity is near 100% up ...
Maybe we could use something like Orb of storms + PCoC + CoH + Assassin's Mark instead of Blasphemy + Ass Mark? Is Assassin's Mark obligatory since we already have a lot of Crit Chance and we generate Power charges with Frenzy+PCoC? Last edited by dguay#0846 on Mar 3, 2016, 7:29:24 PM
