what the fuck do I care about costume pieces, this isn't barbie dress up party, this is a hack and slash

and don't get me started on trading challenges in a game without an auction house

I only will try hard to get to 90 hc, when I get bored with that it's back to standard where I have my gear and currency (and I have to respec all my chars despite only miniscule tree changes on my side... BOO)

PS: and you REALLY should show all threshhold gems before the start of the league.

League is great, new skills and uniques are great. Love that we will get nice looking mtx rewards this time. A lot of new builds to play with. Challenges are a great thing to work toward for a sense of accomplishments, but wow they will be extremely hard to complete ( and I am a no-lifer) unless you do a truck-ton of trading and have a good guild to help you out, because its going to take ALOT of currency and some crazy RNG to get even 25 of them done. I am hoping they tune up the drops to help builds out and to get accomplishments done, like on the flashback league. But even in there I never got a tier 1 unique and I played 10 hours a day.

But I will still enjoy playing all the new stuff. challenge stuff is just a bonus and nothing I will really focus on with all the great new content. Looks very interesting

Ok I am pissed about the RNG involved in these challenges. I have been playing this game for a LONG time I don't consider myself a casual player seeing as I spend 3-4 hours a day at minimum playing most of the time its closer to 6. But unless the drop rates are way turned up for this its just bullshit as I haven't been able to drop most of those id the items or amass enough currency to buy them to id them. And Tier 15 maps OMFG I just finished leveling my mjoiliner build from 93-94 having to do it primarily with tier 10 maps because NOTHING higher dropped, I would get the occasional tier 11 or 12 but nothing higher and that was running it in std with a retardedly geared toon who spent lots of chaos on domination shrines and stuck in mortal fragments for the extra Q and still I was gated behind rng bullshit. Challenges should be something to work at or towards not OMG I hope this item drops for me so i can Id it! and the cards drop is another thing I haven't gotten one good set put together through 3 leagues worth of playing and im supposed to be able to magically drop them in 1? WAY WAY WAY too much RNG involved.

Not a complaint, just a statement of facts. The rewards should be different. Even if it was only a very minor and decidedly unimportant difference that would be enough. Add a couple stripes of color to the hardcore version and BAM it's different. Just something that delineates those of us who not only accomplish these things but do so without dying.
