Hi guys,
In what would you invest your first exalt or two on Talisman - bow, Drillneck or Coil? May God have mercy upon my enemies; they will need it. Last edited by _phlv_#6157 on Dec 20, 2015, 3:50:57 PM

Hands down lightning coil. I have found 2 of them and purchased one. You can get them for 1 ex now. My bow I spent 25c on and linked it myself and I do have a drill neck but that's not required. But nice to have. So id say grab a coil and max your resists out

Level 87 just downed Atziri with this build. First time I've ever killed her with any build. This build is still cranking out the dps.

derf what's your tool tip dps at?
|
|
tooltip is a little over 13k. but if you factor in vulnerability and conc its more around 25k. further more 6 frenzy is 5% each which is 30% more and that comes to roughly 32k. idk if im doing my math right. it could be wrong. im not very sure on how to factor all this. but i think its pretty straight forward haha...
oh and my ca gem is 20/20 and the rest are right around 16/20. so when those all get back up to 20/20 it should be sitting at around 16k i hope Last edited by derff87#5755 on Dec 21, 2015, 4:26:58 AM

Can you explain why do you keep golem on low level? I think self casting higher one with more hp is much better. Mine is 13lvl now and it helps a lot and he is actually tanking for me.
Secondly, This is my current weapon with gems Should I get Drillneck next or look for better bow? If drillneck is next step what gems should I use with CA? I suppose pierce is a must. |

Derf, mine is right at 15k.I don't have a drillneck but I have +3 bow. All my gems are lvl 19 0 quality so I'll have to re-level those. I have a level 2 empower and slower projectiles is still better...I'll have to level that up one more time and see how it is.
I need to practice atziri. I've downed her many times but always with a friend. Last 2 times I would panic when I fought her. I'll keep at and maybe come through like you. As for inferius, I'm not the subject mater expert but I would get a dot mod from someone crated on your bow first. A 5 link +2 kept me going for a while. If I were you I'd buy a lightning coil or drillneck. Last edited by absolutefury#4214 on Dec 21, 2015, 11:56:44 AM

" I also have my golem leveled up and linked to minion health. I hardly have to recast and I get more damage boost. That's a good starter bow. What you're really looking for is a thicket bow for an ideal bow. Thicket bows have 1.5 attack speed and can have addition added with crafter. But you're on the right path with a +2 for sure. As far as drillneck goes I'll honestly tell you that a lightning coil will be a much bigger return on investment due to the fact you'll stay alive more. Plus they are roughly the same price. I have a drillneck and have tested combination of gems and in no way is pierce a better gem than void manip, slower projectiles, rapid decay or conc effect. Those supports have excellent scaling with ca. I will say however since I am lvl 87 and map drop rate just flat out sucks I'm forced to run lower t4-5 maps so for clear speed I do switch out conc for pierce that way I can just now down mobs without stopping. But for progression or just playing don't use pierce. To get more pierce and damage use, if I remember the name correctly, the unique pierce Jewell called poachers aim. It will give you 65% chance and 10% more damage to projectiles. Grocery has made a very good build, so just follow his build and you'll be set. I have made a few adjustments to the passive tree for my own sake but overall you can feel safe following his build. Last edited by derff87#5755 on Dec 21, 2015, 11:55:50 AM
