Oh how shotgun nerf has destroyed builds like this. I bet you can't even do uber on a 300ex budget with this build. Clear speed is pretty trash too since APS is garbage. With only 2 spells, the effects don't even look cool. Not sure what the point of this build is.

Not sure what the point of this comment is. Check the videos, dps and clear speed are fine, bosses are easy. And with that logic do you go around saying that to every build thread, because most builds can't even do uber. This is not even an uber farming build, but check the atziri guide still does atziri easily 100% deathless and able to do uber as well, however, I don't farm atziri or uber. I never say that this build is the best build in the game, although it is still very strong and this build is still fun for me and plenty of other people and friends.

Oh and looking at your comment history it seems like you make it a habit of only commenting negative feedback to other builds as well. Troll 0/10 fail. Thanks for your input though, your lack of knowledge and troll attempt was humorous.
Hey dude. Nice build.. Was going to try it out but will the non-legacy shav ring balance out the rf burn dmg?..

Thanks. I haven't tested it with the non-legacy shav ring so I'm not sure exactly how much more it will degen. With my legacy ring I can run RF without it hurting with the flask up but it doesn't heal me it still degens very slowly that it's not noticeable. So with 1% less I can imagine it will degen the ES pretty bad. But I've tried it with my legacy ring and with 97% fire res if you get barbarism and 60% aura effect nodes it will actually heal my ES, but I dropped it since it wasn't necessary since I can run RF without the 97% to save some points. So you can probably try 96 or 97% fire res with the non-legacy shav ring to achieve similar results, it will cost more passive points. I'd get the legacy one if you can. Or as long as you use it only versus the boss to burst him down fast and you'll heal back up you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply man.. I will try and get a legacy ones if possible. Yeah I thought so going 97% might achieve that slow degen.
Hello Ryuzaki!

First of all thnx for this detailed guide and your nice videos that explain the build!
I was playing low life BM EK and just switched to this because i had problem with EK mana cost and life regen!

Here are a couple of questions!

1)Is it really worth it to go RF?We loose regen provided for leg shavs ring!We can also use another great diamond ring if we dont need shavs ring! This can give as crit attack speed resistances and dexa to drop some points from tree!We can also save the flask nodes and go with the Snowforged cluster!Even more crit and so much damage there! (i think RF should be used if we are comfortable with our ES regen only)

2)What is better for dps in high levels? Invest in crit for barrage to have more casts of spells or invest in crit for spells so our spells do more and more damage as they are casted!
I see u got voidbringers which only help our spells crit and not barrage so we probably got very high chance our spells crit!

3)Here is my my gear can u tell me what to improve first?
Spoiler
Here is my some peices of my gear can u tell me what to improve first?

Hey kompogiannitis, thanks!

1) I think it's definitely worth it to use RF if you can sustain it. It basically doubles your dps. I only use it when needed though for bosses or you can use it on linear type maps if you want to run through it fast. It's not necessary though, you can get by just fine without it but the dps boost is great and noticeable. For just regular mapping it's not needed, and you can still kill the bosses without RF, it will just take a little longer. RF is also very helpful in normal Atziri to burst down the bosses fast, and versus high map bosses. It's worth it if you have the gear for it and can still cap resists without another rare ring; we do use 3 points for the flask nodes but the double dps is worth it!

2) You need a balance of both, can't have one without the other (crit/accuracy and spell damage). Example, if you proc all the time but have low spell damage you're hitting often but with low damage; and if you have high spell damage but low crit/accuracy you may hit hard but not often. The minimum barrage crit/accuracy would be +80% if it's below that then you still need more so that you can proc efficiently while still having good defense/spell damage. It's possible for me to achieve +90% crit/accuracy but would have to sacrifice the spell damage/defense/ES, so I don't waste points to get depth perception and think it's worth it.

The skill trees are provided in build, if you want to increase the dps there's a glass cannon version as well or you would just have to take out points for ES/defense to increase dps. My actual crit and accuracy (screenshots shown in build) are pretty low, however, with RF activated I have no problem with dps (also Anger/HoI/21 gems/gear helps). A good wand with high crit is needed to get the barrage crit up, plus the power charges. Attack speed is also import, should have some where around 2.3 APS or +2.10 (easy with jewels and need high level for skill tree passive points).

3) Nice gear, the upgrades depend on how much ex you have to spend. I'd work on getting your ES up, for easy tanking, leveling, high level maps/bosses. I'd get the ring and amulet with crafted maximum ES% on them to boost your ES (can roll 5-20% max ES crafted), the Elreon jewelry isn't needed for the build since barrage is so low mana cast. The ring is good just craft ES, and if you can find an amulet with crit and crit multi and spell damage or other stats and craft ES on it. The shield can give us the biggest ES boost since it can be our highest ES piece of gear if you can get with +400-500 ES and with spell damage/spell crit, however those are quite expensive as well. If you keep searching you can find a good wand with +10.8-11 crit with spell damage, spell crit and crit multi would be good but may be expensive or take a while to find. The helm is good, could always get higher ES upgrade later, and the boots are good res could get higher ES upgrade later. Also, could get 21/20 Arctic Breath and Fireball gems for good dps boost and 21/20 HoI, 21 Anger. But it all depends on how much you have to spend and have to farm and trade and what you want more offensive/defense. Also check what's available on the market at the moment for a cheap upgrade, if you can't find any good cheap wands or amulets but there are shields or boots then get the shield/boots and vice versa; so what ever gives you the most cost effective upgrade that's available. You can check out the Minimum Stats section in the build guild to see what you're lacking in to improve first.

Sorry for the long and late reply, hope that answers your questions and helps!

is this still viable in 2.1?
the ammount of currency used in this thing hurts my feelings :(
