Experimental Brazilian Gateway

Been playing for a while now and my ping is still pretty stable at 20-30. I'm getting randomly placed into the DC gateway in some zones though, don't know why (it's not even the next best gateway for me), so there's that. Lockstep feels awesome! starting to get excited about this but... Pretty pretty please an answer? It feels terrible to be left guessing in a matter i care so much for

Yeah, now I really have to say something.

I started playing PoE and supporting GGG September 2011 and I never imagined it would come this awesomely far.

You guys at GGG are what Blizzard decided not to be after Diablo 2.
Then the guys from Blizzard North failed to deliver Hellgate London.
Then Diablo 3 turned out to be a mediocre game and a great auction house simulator.

Since I was 15 years old (that was 15 yeas ago too) I started learning networking and coding skills, I always wondered why couldn't they fix the D2 desync, black walls and all.

I also used to call my ISP to ask for better routes and lower pings, they always dismissing me as the annoying kid with the "traceroute" problem.

Your answer was the Deterministic Lockstep. AMAZING. Really no other aRPG implemented this?

Now, regarding the new Sao Paulo gateway,
I just tried Lockstep in it, but it is quite laggy and weird, despite the lower ping ~80.

I'm from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The ping reported in F1 graph is around 30ms, or 80 in Lockstep.
Texas gateway is between 180-220ms for me, Lockstep there is very delayed, but consistent.

Maybe this is not low enough for Lockstep yet? :/

I'll be playing in Predictive mode now for some time to test it.

Ei samuka! eu também to aqui em BH e o ping ta bem estável por volta de 30, no lockstep mesmo. Tentou conferir se há algum recurso consumindo bando no seu computador no momento? Provedor aqui é NET, se isso te ajuda a comparar. E sobre segregação por região, essa é uma coisa que eu tô tentando confirmar aqui hahaha. Um programador anunciou que os chats e noticeboards seriam segregados pra quem tivesse jogando no gateway br, mas na época ele não teve certeza se os jogadores no mesmo gateway sofreriam isso mesmo jogando em inglês ou não, é o que eu estou muito curioso para saber com certeza no momento

I was always above 160 ms.... now.... 20~25 ms (with some spikes)... just so glorious.. hit a seething life flask and see that it is applied instantly.... I gonna cry....
