Frenzy
The sound. Please change the sound.
It's loud, and with the attackspeed the average bow-frenzy build has, it doesn't stop. You cannot hear important audio-ques over it. And, this is purely personal taste: It's obnoxious. I want to play a Frenzy build, as it's one of the few bow attacks that "just shoots physical arrows", but I cannot stand hearing this for the rest of my character. |

Hey POE team,
I've been irrationally in love with the Melee frenzy attack way before the massive 1.2 nerfs. With the changes to Berserker (sound amazing), and the inbuilt melee splash (amazing) - I'd love to see some changes to the Frenzy attack itself. I do trust you guys at GGG. Just hoping you don't forget one of the oldest skills in the game with the melee rework. (Don't let it just be used for frenzy charge generation). Sincerely Frenzy lovers |

Seems to be very hard to reach at least 6/7 attacks per second right now... due to multistrike speed attack nerf.
So Frenzy is now not Frenzy anymore :( |

The upcoming changes to Frenzy for 3.25 are quite alarming for melee.
We will now be locked into using Frenzy of Onslaught, which constantly resets your charges to 0, and never allows you to be at max Frenzy stacks. We lose so much from this change, as the build literally revolves around maintaining as many stacks as possible to keep all of your buffs. We constantly lose damage, attack speed, movement speed, spell suppression, evasion rating, and dodge chance. It negates all of the "per Frenzy charge" mods in the game and makes all but 1 of the Charge Mastery options completely useless. Clearly, you should be able to see how detrimental that is to a melee Frenzy build, who now has no other gem choice. Please reconsider limiting melee Frenzy to the Frenzy of Onslaught gem or change the functionality of the gem to only remove stacks if you do not have Onslaught active. Thank you! |

I second what Cimmerian has said. Melee frenzy is completely dead without the use of Ralakesh. Should an entire skill gem require a tier 0 unique to have baseline functionality? No!
Frenzy of Onslaught should not remove your charges to grant Onslaught. Bow builds essentially get frenzy charge generation and culling strike for free because of manaforged arrows, but a single melee skill that is all damage zero utility can't have Onslaught for free? I feel like this isn't something that should be left unaddressed until the next league. No other melee skill in the game requires the use of a specific unique to function. If you are concerned that every melee build will feel obligated to use frenzy of onslaught to get free onslaught and frenzy charges then change the skill gem to grant 0.2 seconds of Onslaught per frenzy charge on hit instead. Problem solved. |
