Interested to see why you ended up with EB/MoM/ZO - my concerns around how you are sustaining your ES and no life regen.

Also no Arcane Potency or Power Charge nodes?

Enduring cry with inc duration is 500 ES per cast, blood dance and general nodes provide 4.8% ES regen p/s which sustain your casting alone.

Arcane potency is not worth it considering the multi you can get from gear. In high end maps it's not your DPS that's the problem and this build ends up with about 6.3K EHP which isn't that much.

When it comes to power charges, I'd rather have a jewel which can roll life and 40%+ spell damage/ES gain on hit/etc.

Thanks for the feedback :).

With regards to Cruel Bandit rewards - would you say the Skill Point over Cast Speed is more beneficial?
Yes.

Just curious, when do you take EB?
The new mechanic sucks ass.

Late 50, early 60s.
Update on the GC links.

Switched hypothermia to conc effect. Reason being that after going back to my ripped chars and doing a few high maps, you want that "more" multiplier to apply all the time, not just when you chill/freeze mobs because as it turns out that doesn't happen very often unless you constantly crit which requires all charges to be up.

TL;DR Hypothermia isn't as good in higher lvls maps because mobs get frozen less often.

Removing hypothermia for conc effect bumps the tooltip to 24K without Maligaro's/facebreaker. An example of the actual DPS of that tooltip being 40% of a rare rakango's life in a 78 map with a single cast.

Enjoying the build, currently in Act 4 cruel(darkshrine hc) and switched over to EB/ZO/MOM with blood dance boots.

I noticed you mentioned 3-4-5 frenzy charges in your original post but I didn't notice you taking any on the skill tree (non-acro). How are you getting these additional frenzy charges? They seem like they would be useful as sometimes I find myself out of ES when taking a lot of damage.

Also, do you find that assassins mark procs regularly? I feel like it doesn't hit very often (have it linked to curse on hit and herald of thunder as you mentioned) and I rarely have power charges. Do you ever self-cast assassins mark?

The acrobatics version of the build takes extra frenzy charges, I'll check the main post again to see whether I've not made that clear because I recently changed quite a few things and there might be some outdated sentences.

You need to have about 35% of your life as ES so that you can survive something that leaves you at 1 HP and still be able to cast.

Assassin's mark procs often for me but only when I crit a large pack, I suggest a dagger with lightning damage to spells or just link herald of ice instead of thunder to it.

I never self-cast, I find it to lower dps a lot and it's a hassle.
Thanks for responding, the tip with the lightning damage with spells seemed to help a lot. I'm seeing a lot more procs of assassin's mark on herald of thunder since I found a wand with lightning damage.

The main issue I have right now is having enough mana/ES to cast GC. I'm running discipline, herald of thunder, and herald of ice so my mana is pretty low about 60 or 70. My ES is around 1.2k (level 63, 3.5k life) and with 3 frenzy charges my ES regen is only around 65 (4.8 life/sec with 3 frenzy charges). My 4-link GC costs 54 mana with a .3 second cast time. The 1.2k ES can sustain casting GC constantly for awhile but when I take a lot of damage with MOM I can't regen ES and cast GC at the same time. Of course this happens at not the most opportune times such as bosses or tankier enemies. Any tips with the ES regen issue?

In all of my spellcaster builds as of 2.0 I self cast enduring cry with blood magic and increased duration. It's absolutely necessary since you don't want to be caught in a moment where you have only 600 ES to protect your endgame 4.5k life.
I'm addicted to this build but Ripped 2x.
I no longer play HC. Will be using this build in Non HC Leagues.
Thanks a lot for this build. It's so fun!

Also: Are 2 Divinarius Daggers fine? They seem to give amazing boosts.
Also, why can't we use Carcass Jack? Seems like it would be a huge benefit.

2 Divinarius are fine if you can't wait anything with crit multi on it. Otherwise any dagger with at least some spell damage and a bit of crit multi is better because it's not restricted to 120% crit which is pitiful.

Use carcass jack if you have enough ES to sustain casting GC.
Checking in, level 75 Darkshrine HC. Build is very effective so far, just make sure to cast your Enduring cry for the Life (which translates to ES) regeneration. Will try to remember to update when I get to late game maps.
