It's true Poison mostly shines vs Rares+ unless you're in a party with several people. But isn't that exactly where EK is slightly weaker?

As for the rest, I never felt the lack of Pierce to be an issue, but it's certainly an option. Glad the Elemental Aura EK is working out for you :).

Stats updated. If I get Empower 4, that'll be about 7% more DPS.

You can play just fine on a Tabula until you get it. It's even good practice for when you get it, on how to not be stupid and die.

For people not playing HC, I highly recommend using Tabula +1 instead of 6L Hyrri's / Lightning Coil. Based on my calculation, you scarifies ~25% survivability but gain same amount of MORE dps (if you are using empower). It is also cheaper (2ex compared to 10ex), and more fun (use a lot of gem combination as you want).
In my case I have 6k8 life in tabula so I dont think LC / Hyrri's is much better, even in HC.

I agree, if you're using Empower, Tabula +1 is at least as good. However, in party play and very risky maps, personal DPS matters less than defences. And if you're not using Empower, it's not worth it, obviously.

Hyrri is by no means a must, either way, since many players reach high levels with a Tabula (myself included) .

Thank you for sharing your build, I've been using it for a while now, even after taking a forced break. I am using the BF variant, and it has been working wonderfully. Although, I do suggest making the guide a bit clearer and more indepth for the BF, in terms of actual gems and such. I have had to switch my gems several times, leading to frustration due to the chrom spam. For example, a few times it has been suggested to use Hatred as an aura, and HoA is being used in some other gears, to my confuse, I have already leveled them and I have been switching back and forth in the gems and such.

TLDR: Please make the BF section more clear and concise visa vi the actual used gems (Auras, conc effect etc.)

Well, it depends what you chose, Poison vs Hatred and elemental scaling. Both work quite well. As for Conc Effect, that's entirely up to you - I kept switching gems all the time while using it, but I was on a Tabula (like you should be most of the time). Personally, I found Conc Effect to reduce clear speed too much, so I was using the same links I use for EK now.
