If you like not having Fortify, hitting cool-down in the wrong time, or encountering bugs and having it not work at all, go right ahead. It's ok for warping past stuff just like Lightning Warp, but it's a terrible kiting skill.

In general, any movement skill that's without Fortify is terrible with the new damage numbers.

Yeah I realised that fortify seems like big deal here. Would you say Evasion or Armor is the better "rare" item type for this build?

Evasion, no question. You have Acrobatics eventually, which cuts your Armor and ES in half. You do want a tiny amount of ES so you can avoid status effects 50% of the time (for the first hit), but that's it.

I guess it seems obvious, but you can, and should, in fact use Life Leech gem for some maps and bosses.

Hey, I've been leveling with this build, almost to maps now, and it's been great. The only thing I don't like is the auto-warlords setup. I feel like I'm only getting end charges after I need them, rather than when I need them, so I'm going to switch to self-casting enduring cry. What CWDT setup would you recommend if not using warlords mark? enfeeble maybe?

Warlord's is for Life Leech (especially vs reflect), not the Endurance Charges. The late-end game thing to do is indeed to use Enduring Cry Self-cast, but you'll need Rallying Cry for a WHILE (at least for a 6L).

You'll appreciate that leech in maps, trust me, every last bit of it.

Does Iron Grip work with EK?

I have this dumb idea of EK based DOON + Iron Grip + Iron Will + a whole pile of strength.

Edit: I assume not because I finally paid attention to the Attack part of Iron grip.
Sigh, GGG continues to stifle build diversity :(
