Realy great build i use it since 2.0 and it's great in survivability and dps. Making 78 map is quite easy with this beast.

As you mention Blood magic version in your guide i'm currently trying it and it's very good. The life reg is hight enought to sustain incinerate even on bloodrage (don't test with faster casting). I unspec the mana/mana reg node and put more life/armor node.
I can run Anger + AA + Herald of ice i think it's possbile to run a second herald with an elighten gem lvl 3+

That let me with around 6k life 14.5k dps (with charge) and around 10k armor. So for me more tankyness and more DPS. Only problem is that i put out fire pen for BM and i feel the lake of impact. I'm currently saving for a 6L belly (18 ex just 4-6 more and it's done ^^). With that i can do Incinerate Q20 + LMP + Faster proj + SE + BM + Fire pen Faster proj can be switch for faster casting but i realy like the immense range with it =)

Very nice guide. Been using this since 2.0 and gotta say its best build i've tried so far.
Early game with this build wasnt the best because low dps but after i got my gems leveled to 20 and got my first 5l the powerspike to dps hitted in and everything turned to be super fast/easy. Now im lvl 88 and i've done multiple 80 maps easy and only map mod i need to rerol is ele reflect. Haven't tried atziri yet but gonna do that today to see how that goes.

What i like most of this build is how cheap the end game gear is, got my gear for less than 10ex. (bought plate 5l, 6 linked it myself later) All resists capped, 5.8k life, 14.5k armor and 13.7dps tooltip dps w/o auras/frenzy charges.

Heres my passive tree and gear is there something i should change?

Hi there

I finaly put a hand on a 6L shest:



I run many combination of gem and finaly fail to have a BBRRGG after 400+ chrom ^^'. Stat now are 5.5k hp 13.5k def and 15.4k dps on charge (still on blood magic).
I eventualy got a BBBRRG with Incinerate + SE + FC + BM + Iron will + LMP and reach 19k dps on charge oO but fail to have it back while chroming xD.
So now i can do Incinerate + LMP + SE + BM + IW + Empower (lvl 3 under is not worth it) for nice tooltips dps but after test fire pen is as always way better.
So i go Incinerate + LMP + SE + BM + IW + Fire pen and it works well i regret my faster proj for faster cleaning hope i will chrom it as i like in future ^^

Anyway test confirm me that Blood magic setup is for me better i hope some of you gona test i'd like to have some feed back.

Fun number if you run determination over anger it trust to 20k armor so 71% reduced damage for a still good 12.5k+ dps =)

I'm currently running Incinerate with The Consuming Dark + Infernal Mantle for the 100% chaos to fire damage. Do you think this build will work with chaos damage? I mean in terms of tree and skill setup.

5 points for a hefty amount of armor. BUT, 5 points could net you 25% increased HP, which is much, much better against elemental.

If you have a crazy amount of armor from gear to the point where +4% reduction will do you wonders, then go ahead and get it. Otherwise it's not that great.

Pros of dealing chaos damage:
-No need to use Fire Pen gem
-Enemies have low chaos res, and will usually be limited to 30%, whereas magic/rare mobs are much more likely to have unreasonable amounts of fire res, e.g. 60-75%.
-Ignores ES

Cons:
-You're wasting the crit capabilities of Consuming Dark + Infernal Mantle combo
-Consuming Dark has mediocre stats
-Infernal Mantle is hazardous on low mana (which this build innately has), and the ES is bad for the blood rage degen


All in all, I would stick with just fire damage. The 100% fire->chaos conversion is only worthwhile on a crit fire build. Since a very nicely rolled Consuming Dark dropped for me today, I started working on a (f)Lame Surge crit build, but I would never use it for incinerate.
