Explosive Arrow Marauder (Updated for Release)

I've gotten a lot of info/help out of this thread over the past months, and figured I would share how I ended up. Just about to ding 90, only regret I have is not going hardcore originally, as I have NEVER died with this char. Had a lot of fun not really sure when I'm gunna go from here.
I, unlike a lot of the people went this route with my 6 link in my quill rain. It can be kinda scary with double reflect but I would like to say I play smart and like to play well awake and attentive. Currently have 10k armor with no endurance charges 8.7k hp and about 40+ overcap resistances. I may switch the inc aoe out for inc burning damage but I'm gunna cry when I have to rechrome my quill rain, as how many it took to get what I have now. anyways my gear for anyone interested. tree:

I just had a crazy idea. This is terrible the more and more I think about it, but it seems interesting enough to mention. I think we can all agree Blood Magic sucks, but we have to get it to afford the EA mana cost, but what if we used a 6L Covenant instead? We would lose 20% life, but it would allow us to spec out of the Blood Magic keystone (Which on my tree frees up 2 points, then spec out of a couple of other random things too.) and pick up an extra life wheel to cover the 20% life loss and then we basically have free Blood Magic, this will let us runs auras now, so I guess we run Purity, Determination, Grace, and maybe Haste/Vitality? Not sure if it's worth it, but I figured it was worth the discussion, also it wouldnt make our 6L a total ***** to color properly since we would only need 3 off colors instead of 5. :p

Hi Deltrus or Pastromy, got this build to a 78. Could I get a rate on where I could improve my gear? Trying to get a Kaom's, saving up. Got my quill rain to 5L in 22 jewelers and 1 fusing xD I respecced out of blood magic and run purity, determination, vitality, grace, and clarity. (using bm trick). I do 69 maps with ease, can do any mod except no regen. Any tips?

Your gear all has the right affixes on it, but you can definitely get more life on some pieces (glove, coral ring, chest etc). %fire damage is also very good so maybe get that on your rings.

Great build, re-rolled to it around 4ish days ago. Level 84 now. I'm playing on SC because I'm to lazy to re-roll on HC, but I'm still at 0 deaths for now. I'm sitting at around 7.5k HP with 60+ res in ele weakness. Amazing and fun build overall. I just played a discharger and felt it lacked it some aspects like single target , so when I saw this I thought it might be similar but, with a bow instead. Pretty much the same thing but i think it works so much better.
This is my gear so far. I'm pretty short on currency now to upgrade things but I haven't hit any walls yet so I'm pretty happy with it :) |

^You won't be getting any quiver with ias and 3 resists on it.

2 questions this build still good to use after last patch all my skills ahve been reset. also can it be done with out that komas heart armor thn x guys

The build really varies on the player and the gear you have equipped. But the one in the main post by pastromy works like a charm. I use a very similar build and have run into no problems at all (I took more armor passives).
No Kaoms = No problem. I consider Kaoms an extreme luxury, those who have it should cherish it :) since anar/ons don't have the privilege. |
