New Unique Items - Kingsguard and Call of the Brotherhood!

These both look super cool, but I can't help but think that this ring is wildly overpowered. With two of them on, you get 100% of lightning damage converted to cold damage. Add a cold-to-fire gem and Avatar of Fire, and you get 100% of cold damage converted to fire damage. Which means, in effect, lightning spells will scale with every kind of elemental damage node. Cold, lightning, fire, elemental, and spell damage.

I took a quick look at the skill tree, and this is by no means the maximum potential or most efficient point allotment, manage to get 581% increased damage with 65 points spent, leaving plenty left for health and energy shield. That's nuts, yo. You could easily sacrifice a little bit of that damage for some extra health, and still be dealing bugnuts insane amounts of damage without much actual investment.

The question now is how rare are they gonna be and how expensive...

I want a three dragons build with that ring :[ scale lightning damage to freeze AND shock :D

Kingsguard looks... interesting, in a way. I was actually thinking something along the lines of Vigilant Strike/ECoMS spam when I first saw it, but then I remembered that Discharge and Voll's Devotion exist, so Kingsguard is probably going to stay waaaay the hell out of my price range. Alas. (It's still hella cool, though.)

Brotherhood looks interesting too, mostly because it completes the conversion-path circle. Not sure how useful the shock-frozen-enemies thing is going to be, but I suspect it'll probably see a weird build or two at some point built around it.

Both look like a lot of fun to me. That ring has so many things to play with especially with the new elemental support gems we already got. With that chest I'd try a hybrid ar es stun build with zo. My last one could build 7 charges before ic expired, now both the life and es would refil....
