Guys this thread has gotten extremely off topic. Can we please get back to what is really important? That being the curse of The Salty Shavs. It has already struck twice today

https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/39jpvk/player_attempts_to_sell_broken_legacy_shavs/

Who will be the next victim? Whose greed will blind them to the truth of this shavs? Whose black heart will shift the burden of the curse onto another?

lol

loving the commentary

+1, lolled. Have mercy on the restless soul of your next victim o legendary brick.

Peace,

No actually he can Divine it but he loses his Legacy mod ofcourse in doing so!
Which is what GGG said people have to do if they have an item like this to fix it because something about in the code the bug set mods on items to Zero is why mods and links are missing!

At least its not a total loss if you did Divine it. a 6L non legacy would still sell i would say!
I doubt for 80Ex but close to it! He might get his 80Ex back if the Divine hits a decent roll!
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.

The worst part about this is if that was say an Abysuss without the more phys damage mod or a coil without the -lightning resist i bet it would have been fixed then!

It might not be so simple to fix and i don't see GGG fixing just one Abyssus. It would be fix all or no fix at all, i think.
It looks like the problem would have to be greater than that.
And in the end it only costs 1 Divine to fix (having in mind that for GGG legacy items are treated like they "technically" don't exist).
Everything is so RNG gated in this game that rare bugs like this are just a drop in the bucket.
What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!
/Talisman League(2015/2016)

Oh look, Synthesis League(2019) = Talisman League all over again.

Yes, I also believe that no one ever regrets any of their actions. All those billions of people who say they do? They're just confused morons. If someone thinks something is a good idea at the time, it is literally impossible for them to believe otherwise later.

Obviously.

What? Regret is based on information. I regret signing up for a course; at the time it looked great, now I've almost completed it I realise it's taught me nothing and was aimed at someone of a much lower level. There's no way I could have known that before signing up, and now I regret wasting the money.

People can regret things.

It really is amazing how terrible people are at perceiving sarcasm. The sarcasm in my post could not have been more obvious. I am honestly shocked here.
If this thing is still for sale when I have a few more exalts, I think I'll buy it and put it out of it's misery...

Then save the Divine Orb from the vendor -- the Orb that stopped the chain of grieving.

EDIT: Before someone jumps on me, yes I realize using a divine orb on it would be the smarter choice but out of principle I think it just needs to go away.
Thanks for all the fish!

has anyone tried hitting it with a divine ?

Divining it will return the 'Chaos Damage can't buypass ES' mod, but it will also reroll the ES to non legacy values. So it's better to try and trick someone to buy it for the legacy price than divine GGG's mistake and assume the loss.

Wait...so what you're saying is that The Cursed Shavs will be passed to one person to another causing misery to everyone who comes into possession of it until it comes into the hands of someone pure of heart who is willing to sacrifice themselves to finally lift the curse?

That is some heavy shit man...

lmao. great post.

maybe you missed the part where selling bundled toxic debt by withholding information leads to conviction and huge fines to keep your ass out of jail.

Maaaaybe not the best example to explain your virtues.

If I had the means, I would want said item in my collection for the same reason i like my 3% rustic sashes, game history and lineage

Cause that's what guilds are for, to borrow currency to flip? You're a riot buddy, please tell me where you got such an idea

it's called selling short, you borrow stock, expecting it to take a nose dive in value, sell it while it is high, buy the same amount of stocks when they are low, hand the equal number of stocks back to the lender along with a percentage of the earning, there is literally entire markets devoted to this principle which is a safe guard against over-inflated value due to hype and not actual value.

Hey...is this thing on?
