Are you seriously going to pull a Blizzard and wipe everything by introducing higher mod tiers? This isn't a damn MMORPG where they give people an endless gear treadmil to keep them paying.

Actually, the new tier 1 changes are made for perma league. No one makes 6/6 t1 in temp leagues so why would they bother increasing it? It's for re-set for people who play standard and need something to do.

Actually, I think they made the changes so rare items are more used (in their words, not mine). The game is too unique focused.

As someone else mentioned, Chris explicitly stated several times that expansions and other such additions of content would not include an increase to the level cap, or anything that would invalidate the top tier items that people earned. As he correctly mentioned, it feels terrible to have an expansion come out and automatically invalidate every item you have, because the mods can all roll 10 levels higher (ex. WoW).

IIRC Chris mentioned, when talking about the Maraketh Weapons, that they were meant to be only minutely more powerful (if at all) than other top weapons, so as to not overshadow other top tier items.


Well now you're actually communicating I'm actually surprised right now all though I'm still rather annoyed.

As for the the jewels that wouldn't return; Well those weren't a no brainer especially Dark thought's that shit was stupid like I didn't even know why I defended that jewel.

this was a joke by me, but youre right that its intended for perma-leagues, I meant moreso people who invested into crafting/buying a top (or so they thought) craft item
