New Low-Level Uniques

Also they sell for a decent amount of alch scraps sometimes.

1/20 (5% of an alch) to 5/20 (25% of an alch) is not decent, it's a very small amount, even more so when we have such low unique drops per/time.

And when you finally get the Alchemy Orb, you use it on a piece of gear to get crap rolls every time, and vendor it for another very small amount of Alteration Shards. Go figure... -__-
What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!

Oh look, Synthesis League(2019) = Talisman League all over again.

No, you don't get crap rolls every time, Unless you are implying that all rare items are crap?

I can understand why some might be upset at adding more low level uniques to a pool of stuff most regret seeing drop when they're mapping. After all, the grind of maps is the hardest of all and seeing the effort rewarding by a drop that's good for a char 50-60 levels lower is a bit of a letdown (ok maybe a big letdown).

Probably these new low level items will be fun to look at for the first few weeks, then once people have leveled they'll become redundant and space filler. Seems like an eventuality, but I do have a suggestion that might be able to change all of that.

Suggestion for GGG:
What if every unique was tied to a specific drop table limited mainly/especially by level? For example if a level 20 unique only drops in level 17-23 areas, and so on. I imagine this would lead to much less frustration for both higher and lower level characters, since they'd be more likely to find drops that are relevant to their progression. To help compensate for the resultant limiting of uniques that could drop, the overall frequency of uniques dropping could also be increased for every area. This might also lead to high level chars farming some lower level areas as they may want to build around a certain item, accomplishing the same goal as GGG stated for their Divination cards: that is, to encourage people to farm certain areas in order to find specific items. You could solve a ton of problems people have looking for uniques to enable builds, and for especially powerful ones, their scarcity could be still be regulated even if overall unique drops were to be increased for each area level.

I'll make a post for this in the Suggestion forum as well, this seems like a legit idea (barring stuff I haven't foreseen).

I like this idea !

While i really like the addition of uniques at all lvl ranges, i have to agree that dropping low level uniques in maps are a really big problem. The self found argument doesn't work as the drop rate of low lvl uniques in low lvl areas is too low to count on this. Ok we can have them for rerolling but it doesn't help the frustration to drop them at high lvl maps.

I'd much rather see a biased RNG much like it exists for base items, i.e. in higher level areas higher level items are more likely to drop than lower level items. That could be something like, a level 30 unique is rare in the low level 30 areas, uncommon in the high level 30 areas, common in the level 40 areas, uncommon in the level 50's, and rare again from then on.
This is a joke right? Don't you guys play your own game? We need MORE melee leveling uniques? The only level unique that was needed was the wand for wanders, and you already did it.

99% of rares are trash, have you played this game?

AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS HERE??!?
I like having the option of more levelling uniques.
That spiked club... 300% increased phys, doesn't use both hands... wow.
Another quality ZAP! post.
The sword looks great and I hope to see more reduced attack speed uniques. Totally appreciate more leveling uniques being added; it's very enjoyable when you find one whilst playing through the game on a new character and get to try out something new and interesting.
Nice weapons

Big thx GGG for this great game :)
That sword is melee Rever. I like the concept, now to just adjust the loot tables so I don't find my 800th Fencoil in my 74 maps...
Yay, leveling uniques for my mace guy!

95% of all rare items are vendor food the other 5% are items that have 2 good/top stats but the rest of the stats are crap and/or are not desired stats, also vendor food. Masters benches let you craft a rare item with 35 to 45% of its potencial wich means the item itself its not even worth the value of the amount of currency you've spent on it. Might not even be enough for you to get enough resists and so on... maybe in 10 years of game play you might be able to get enough Eternals (if you trade for them because they dont drop) to craft "a pair" of Gloves for one character. And you have 10 slots per character, hummmm 100 years to get a really good set of rares sounds reasonable.

edit: Masters Bench = 911 Bandage Kit
