New Low-Level Uniques

all those pesky and selfish comments about low level uniques show that the early and midgame content is still too easy to master.
there were different times, we grinded fellshrine for days and fought and died horrible deaths in malstroem of chaos. and laughed and had fun because it was exciting. now the game is getting facerolled by the majority of builds to get to maps asap to get rich by trading endgame items to late starters and even "hardcore players" complain about too much damage in level 72 maps because they might die. omg, i really want my old game back.

Ah, those good ole Felshrine "Road only, No rocks!" runs. The game has indeed changed.

Why does no one respect the alt shards come on guys D:.

In the time it takes you to get a unique, you'll make 100 or 200 Orbs of Alteration from vendoring rare items. Why would some Alteration Shards make any difference?
What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!
/Talisman League(2015/2016)

Oh look, Synthesis League(2019) = Talisman League all over again.

Maybe some supporter will create a card, that's pretty much "You have a chance of obtaining low lvl random unique".
*cough* don't spoil my card idea *cough*

*Cough Did you buy a Highgate pack? *Cough
Don't forget to drink your milk 👌
"great"

lvl 81 map --> unique drops --> happy --> lvl 10 req crap --> 5 alch shards
Hmmm... GGG gives news about one small aspect of the xpac and even explains that it is not aimed at lvl 75+ running maps, and yet there's 20+ pages of people running 75+ maps complaining about the change. Maybe this one small thing isn't for you. If so, please stop whining.

Also, forums and reddit are never the best representation of the player base of a game as a whole. They usually consist of a very small % of the total population.

Thank you, GGG for keeping multiple types of players in mind when creating new content! I love supporting responsible and well run studios/developers.
People running maps complain about those because they're actually the ones who find those uniques.

Given how the PoE loot system works (everything can drop everywhere with the same chance) players chain-running maps will soon find dozens of those new low-level uniques for which they'll have no use at all.

New players, new characters in races/leagues and self-finders on the other hand will likely not see those ever until they reach maps themselves.

So there is really no surprise that those that complain about those are the poeple running 75+ maps.

Those who can use those new uniques won't have them and those that will have them won't have any use for them. Its a fundamental flaw with the loot system and just adding new stuff to it doesn't help. So its a valid complaint we see here not just some random whining.

actually, this isnt true

Unique items are devided in tiers and those tiers have different drop rates

there are 3 types of drops

-Commun
-uncommun (rare unique)
-Super rare unique

I dont know the exact numbers but from what i remember reading it was like

-Commun(90%)
-uncommun (rare unique)(9%)
-Super rare unique(1%)

imho: this mechanic is a stain on the "risk/reward" spectrum of maps

i often suggested a different way for RNG to work

basicly it was a moving fork of tiers having lesser chances of low level uniques in end areas
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

This is the first time I have posted a reply but I think these will be great to start off with. The negative comments about them being crappy uniques..well you need to understand that these are being made to help low level starting off and are not meant to be high level weapons.
Then why not restrict their dropping to low level zones so that new characters could, you know, actually use them?
