End of One Month Torment/Bloodlines Leagues and Announcement of Five Day Solo Leagues (Updated!)

please forgive me if that one already has been answered ...

are those already inside beta allowed to run those 5 day races, too ?

as i understood, this was implemented to have additional chances to get a key
for those that dont have one already.

i would really prefer those with a key to stay out of that races.

Let me turn on my tags for you. The whole 'deserving' part of past contributors is in my opinion also deplorable, but I agree I should refrain from elaborating my position. My negative statements are contributing to this mess, not resolving it.

To answer the question, though, if you already have access and win access again then nothing happens and it just wastes a beta slot. This is unlikely to occur and I'll try to spot it happening so that I can give the key out some other way.

Play the game when its ready let others do the work. I dont even know why people want to spoil act 4 for themselfs.

Well, actually they have a little advantage by playing the beta. I know that's not a finished thing, but they can experience the changes (the removed shotgunning, the new skills, the buffs, the nerfs, etc.) so when the new changes will be released, they will know what worth playing. Or something like that. :)

I love the idea of a solo self found race. That's why I'll participate, to compare my skills on equal ground. No streamer benefits, no 6L CoD's/Belly's/Weapons on day 2 (except they actually drop), not just getting any gem/unique you want with trading. No help from anyone. Accumulated wealth doesn't matter. Just your skill, experience and luck.
Of course there will be no-lifers, but who cares? Just don't aim for the top 35, instead set yourself a realistic goal, like get to lvl65+ on HC as a worker with only 3-4 free hours on weekdays, and on a build you actually like to play instead of Arc/Lameblast/prolif/TS.
It will require efficent play and a bit of luck, but that's the challenge for me.
Gonna try an Ice Shot Ranger build I just made, with active weapon swap for single target trap/puncture/Point Blank and RoA/CoH/AssMark, so I really just need one 4L for Ice Shot and can upgrade my main bow/most of my equip without searching for/linking 4L items all the time. I spent ~3h theorycrafting an efficient passive skilltree and gem usage, loving it. It's like the race already started for me. The hard part is to wait until 10PM on a free saturday...

Good job GGG, keep the challenges coming. Don't listen to all the whining here/on Reddit, you have a lot of fans who like your dedication and work for this game! Can't wait for the new temp HC league and the new supporter packs to throw money at you (and of course Act 4 and the countless QoL changes).
