How the Closed Beta is going so far

People get excited on patch days (like kids at christmas/holidays/birthdays), Is it so strange for them to act "childish" in an online computer game? :/

Maybe just to increase the hype, which I understand is never a bad thing. But I do feel it is weird that the known steamers all got in fairly quickly. Anybody not playing hardcore has a watered down opinion, and I've never really been a fan of using Twitch to see something new. Especially if that means subjecting myself to people that actually try to make a living by doing something we all do... play videogames and b/s with friends during.

Let's go GGG, unless you actually believe in some sort of ranking of opinion to create the order of keys, then this constricted hourglass is goofy.

Personally I completely do no understand a view like this. Why someone thinks they are entitled to something because they spend more time in front of a computer playing a game than someone else is beyond me. Ironically I also spend a massive amount of my free time doing the same thing which is why I don't understand. So because someone else has a job or a life or kids or a family or w/e they should be not taken into consideration?

As for the stream ruining things....... um seriously? If you are someone who wants to be surprised and not ruing it for yourself then don't go to anybody's twitch and don't watch any streams?

Threatening to leave POE altogether because of "how you are being treated" is probably the single dumbest thing I have read in years, and on the internet that's pretty surprising.

I don't like to flame or call others out, but your comment and how you feel literally utterly shocked me.

@trabbit85 On most of this you are right but on the stream thingy, well they did give some streamers keys to give away. If you want in and want to try to get one from a giveaway you might have to spoil the content for yourself in order to play it immediately (which is kinda poop) but there's been so much revealed now that I dont think many folks really gives much of a crap anymore.

Yeh, I can't really abide people "quitting"just because they dont get into beta immediately but Hey ho, cant wait for this to drop! <3

I'm a little sick of seeing posts in which people are acting like entitled children. Since that type of person is motivated to complain on the forums, while people who are content with waiting don't bother joining into this circlejerk, I'm going to post.

Steamers got in. They're in to cause hype, and that's a positive thing for the growth of PoE. Don't like it? Don't watch them, and stop wasting your time complaining about the dozen or so people who got beta keys that way.

New players got in. Good, the growth of this game depends on their impressions. Some of them are bots? Hopefully most of the bots are really getting banned, but that's bound to happen.

You're not in yet! Oh noes! From what I've read, half of the content we care about is currently in the beta. It's a good thing you're not in yet, it would kill the excitement/splendor that would be your first impression.

Still not convinced? Then please, continue these discussions and threaten to quit. You just sound like a child, and we all know you're going to eat your cake when it's handed to you.
