This still is trash. Only good use for this skill seems to be boss fights. even then i wouldnt use it.

GG GGG. Melee needs more help on passive tree.
Maybe ggg should increase damage to ranged Players further away and have them use an ability to reduce it back to 0, just like melee.

This is a cowboy / roundabout way of doing something something very basic.

Simply lach the buff to the melee component of all skills. Have melee trigger a "power charge" like effect for melee only skills and have it drop when using a ranged skill. Call it "Facet Charges" or face charges!

Done, Boom! Print Patch finished!
Multistrike is level 38 gem in Beta
What makes this such an incredible gem imo is a combination of several things:

1. Hits can not be evaded. This mean crit staffing with no accuracy going from your avrage 77-85% hit rate to 100% even when blinded is Huge.

2. Romira's banquet + voll's devotion + Mutistrike. A crit staff user at average can get around 40% crit with a poor staff + the banquet power charge additions. This synergy is more than enough to generate more endurance charges than is spent casting the skill, thus leaving you the ability to constantly cast the other warcrys rather than enduring cry, which is another huge potential. I've only seen people comment about this skill + ECoMS, but the romira's banquet + devotion + multistrike combo is far more reliable.

3. Abyssus. An amazing helm with this skill and crit staffing. The fortify will offset a bit of the phys increase while still helping with reducing elemental damage taken. With the new armor changes, having good armor + 7 endurance charges will make you pretty durable to physical damage and reflect, but one can still cast immortal call if needed.

Lastly with crit builds, this skill definitely has enough damage, not to mention it is pure physical damage which will have a much higher penetration than the fire dmg from a molten strike/etc without curses meaning more stable damage overall vs various types of mobs.

As per synergies mentioned above along with its nice base damage, this gem has potential and you would not need ECoMS. You can link VS - Meleephys - FA - Mutistrike & switch between Melee splash/MeleePhys on full life/ BloodLetting/Reduced Mana for your next 2 Links go life/mana hybrid the leech from romira's would be enough, you can even take mind over matter node for more burst absorbption since its near the staff crit nodes now, not to mention alongside the MoM node is the nice life/mana regen hybrid nodes and below it is another jewel socket. For bosses Bloodletting can be triggered with a puncture off-switch with things like lioneye glare, or some hit cause bleeding cyclone, etc. Melee on Full life will be procing most of the times with high attack speed&regen, could replace with increased crit mutiplier/etc as well. Overall I like this gem, good job GGG.

Ya. So awesome. Not! You pretty much have to have something that gives you fortify in close combat now. Thanks for making new requirements. Is this really how you plan to fix melee? not by fixing armor?
