Do you think this build is viable for the 1 month HC race? it seems really fun.. but i have no idea if its viable..

Hi :) i've been playing your build in 1M softcore for the last couple of days, and i must say it is awesome !
I had another character so leveling with lifesprigs + tabula was really fast, and i got a lucky taste of hate so i could buy a 5L carcass jack. I am currently level 74 and here's my tree. My gear : I'm looking to change belts + dagger to doryani + double crafted cold leech dagger (my catarina is 6 soon), so i can remove this life leech gem in my 5L. I saw you recommend using cold to fire, but i'm afraid my cold dps will be too low with it to correctly use the cold leech, and i'm not a fan of the gem since it makes freezes much shorter. Wouldn't it be better to put an added cold damage instead, at least until i get enough DPS to use the leech correctly ? Also, what do you think of maligaro ? It's 50% crit chance and a good crit multiplier, seems like a good boost to DPS (+the dexterity helps for the added cold damage prerequisite) Last edited by Gloorf#5173 on May 20, 2015, 7:21:00 AM

" Maligaro's is only good if you have enough health and resistances and mana (because rare gloves give ES). When you use cold to fire, you change your dagger leech mods to fire. It's safer because a lot of the reflect damage is absorbed by AA and it also deals a truckload of additional damage. " Okay, thanks ! Looking at your tooltip DPS, you deal more fire damage than cold damage (4500 vs ~2500), isn't it better to run purity of fire in this case ? Especially since you have flat fire reduction (AA) on top of the resist ? |
