@Aegis Aurora: I tried it before Lioneyes, but you cant really use the core upside (ES Regen) cause the Armour you have is way too low, so i decided against it.

There are also builds that make it work while still using a BoR tho, so I'm unsure.

Reckoning + LIFE ON HIT + Curse on Hit + Warlord’s Mark or Enfeeble or Elemental Weakness

Sure, it can work, but you dont have a problem gaining Life with Warlords Mark active and Reckoning is by far and above the best of the three counter gems. Rather link LGoH on Vengeane / Riposte if you absolutely have to.

Aegis BoR Builds work only with Legacy Aegis and BoR, at least in the "immortality" sense. Preventing hits from small minions like bugs or other swarmlikes is not your problem with 8-10k armour.

Thanks for the info. Did u test the damage with a Soul Taker + running an extra aura?


Not sure what we would run tho, if we don't need mana we could run an herald of thunder/ice without having to take mana nodes. With some mana nodes we would be able to take Determination maybe?

Not sure if it would be worth it.

I bought a Soul Taker, but its low damage offsets the additional aura.. also with Bringer, you really don't have any slots left for an Aura.

Hmm, why do all the other builds use soul taker then? I'm new to these kind of builds :D

Probably because they use determination + hatred + ashe. We don't use determination.

So that could be an option some time in the future. Maybe with determination u could go for Aegis.

For Aegis, you need Iron Reflexes and Grace, both for which you dont have mana for. Also, they use Soul taker cause they run a skill that actually costs mana or want to reserve their whole pool with Auras.

You should maybe go ahead and read a guide on Aegis and Soul Taker builds if you want to make one, i tried both here and i found them to be absolutely lackluster.

I'm definatly going with this one. Was just thinking how it could be improved if I have more currency laying around :D

On which level should you try to do Atziri?
Will you make a video to show how you do her?

Been testing around and I found out that with BoR for the 4th link "phys to lightning gem is superior to added fire. Added fire provides me 10.5k dps with a budget weapon while phys to lightning provides 11.5k

I guess I won't do more testing, just ripped in a 75 necropolis with sea witches, pack size & beyond.

Spawned 2 bosses at the same time and died instantly, didn't even see what happened as I logged out when I was already dead. Wish I stayed so I could see what happened.


But I think it was the corpse exploder with about 100 corpses around from sea witches :D
