Wow. I've totally been trying to brainstorm ways of counteracting Righteous Fire's seemingly fatal condition.

This is a start.

I can see other things than righteous fire for this shield ;)

Righteous Fire won't kill you. It stops when you reach one life.

Redbeak + Springleaf + Kaom's Heart + Crapton of life reserve auras + Crapton of resistances + Righteous fire sounds doable =P.

Redbeak doesn't affect Righteous Fire.

For reference, only buff effect and burning damage passives/mods affect RF, and they affect the damage done to yourself as much as the damage done to enemies, so it's very hard to balance.

Springleaf is good for a RF build. Haven't bothered to do the math to see if it's better than Saffel's shield or not.

Are you sure Redbeak doesn't affect Righteous Fire? As far as I'm concerned it affects ALL damage, which includes burning, as was demonstrated by build video #5.

Is Kaom's Heart available again?

two shield options for righteous fire basically. springleaf for earlier stuff or saffell's frame.
other items for RF is the coral ammy and ambu's charge.
redbeak won't work for either set as you'd be bouncing at and above "low hp" point.

both's set's stats for a RF (tanking): res max of 75% +6% (passive) +4% (aura), 7.5% hp/sec (passives) +~1.5% (aura) +1.2% (or 1.6 if using two rings, end charges) +3% while low (ambu + coral ammy)

leaf would give 6% while low, and saffell would give 5% to max res (and almost spell immunity)

kaom's heart would totally replace ambu >.> 1k hp will be put to VERY good use ontop of the armor defense for lv 60 type armor. edit: but would have to use springleaf i think...

It will work. That's why I said "Life reservation auras", so you're always at low. Which should still be a lot with Kaom's Heart.
