Facelicker: I can confirm that this is the case. Eventually some base types would have multiple Unique items as well. That is stretching quite a bit into the future though.

" Dont want to be rude but with current speed and with principles that each unique has some unique stats and unique 2D (or even 3D) appearance you will achive this in approx. 2019 or even later. :) I really hope that after Open Beta starts and when all main features will be ingame we will see one two patches taht will focus competely on: - base itemization to lvl 99 - affixes (more.. procs for example why not haz them?) - uniques Also i really hope that you guys from GGG have some neat idea to handle SET ITEMS (differrent than D2/D3/TQ). You innovate genre in skill system, flasks, surrency-craft system, etc... suprise me with Sets. :) |

" I'm not 100% sure because I've never seen a quote of a dev saying this specifically, but I don't think the GGG Devs are going to put set items in Path of Exile. They have stated when talking about unique items that they don't want to make high-end items that are better than random rares can potentially be. If they do that, then every high-level character will seek out those items because they're the best and then every single character will be exactly the same gear-wise. GGG wants every character to be as unique as possible. That's why the passive skill tree is so big and offers so many choices. That's why there are hundreds of different skills available with hundreds of different ways to support those skills. And that's why the very best gear will be gear that was generated randomly, without bonuses for wearing specific other pieces of gear. |

Have they stated/estimated how many uniques would be in the final build? Or is it an ongoing thing?

Does Shiversting have a range of damage for its cold addition? I saw one that was 40-80 in game last night, whereas the one linked in the first post is 51-100 I believe. I have a feeling that Shiversting has recently felt the bite of the -20% elemental damage that was quite broadstroke a few patches ago.
Just checking. Account sharing/boosting is a bannable offence. No ifs, ands, or buts. No exceptions. Not even for billionaires.

Holy crap there's an actual Terminus Est in this game? The Book of The New Sun is by far my favorite fictional series. GGG, you have no idea how happy this makes me.
